He will but you have a role to play as well. Start by Humbling yourself in all things. In your dealings with men daily, do it with all humility consciously. As you begin to humble yourself even in prayers before him (Fasting is a way to humble yourself) the Holy Ghost will begin to help you. Don’t just pray for God to kill your Pride, it will not happen without your participation. Read Philippians 2: 8 “And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled Himself…” Notice the Lord Jesus did not just pray for the Father to Humble Him. HE HUMBLED HIMSELF.
I am also in your shoes and this is some of the teachings the Lord has taught me so I am sharing with you.
