I was just starting to explore niche perfumes when I came across Sombre. Let's just say the scent was ... unforgettable. I had to look it up online, which is how I found your CZcams channel. By the way, your review of Sombre was dead on.
A sales rep there politely asked not to spray it more than once and even they'd sold two bottles.
My son on the other hand, begged me for months to get a sample. Apparently, he wanted to prank his classmates with it.

i don't think it's possible to know the concentration of a fragrance only looking at the volume of alcohol, since, for example, the packaging may say 80% volume of pure alcohol, and 20% of other things, those other things include not only frangrance(parfum) but water(aqua) as well, and because they do not disclose the percentage of water, that makes it impossible to know the concentration of fragrance.

Mt friends are traveling to London at the end of the year--what perfume stores would you recommend they visit?
I would say Jovoy in Mayfair and Les Senteurs in Belgravia (it’s tiny but very cute and in a lovely place)
Harrods is the motherload of designer, niche & all other perfumes. Cannot visit London without seeing Harrods.

Hi nice to c u again - I'm a big fan of your videos. I was wondering if u could tell me what u think about Lush's Vanillary. Lord of Misrule is one of my absolute favourites I own - obsession of mine (even if I don't wear it have to come up to dresser just to open and sniff it). I heard they were both created by the same bloke and I adore vanilla but I'm a bit hesitant coz of the jasmine. I like it but only if it's not overwhelming the whole composition and I don't do well with indolic variety. I don't have a store nearby to try it and reluctant to blind buy in case it's just a jasmine bomb with a tiny bit of vanilla in the background rather than nice balance between the two :)
The jasmine in vanillary? For me is pretty much non existent! You should be ok :) it’s a lovely comforting one x
@@ouch110 thanks for the reply :) I had an inkling it might b up my alley but but was also concerned coz I tend to get headaches with super jasmine heavy stuff on myself and indolic is definitely not my cup of tea. In that case as u say jasmine not too scary in there I think I'll take the plunge soon - it's been saying "buy me" for quite some time :) x
