  • I tore down the Itel Star 200F fast charging power bank to reveal the circuit board and batteries. In this video, you will find that the powerbank has a pair of "Kodian" branded 10,000mah lithium batteries made by a company called "Jiangxi Cool Electricity". We'll also look at the compact circuit board that houses the Injoinic IP5356 IC which enables the fast charging capability of the powerbank.
Before this teardown, I tested the fast charging protocols and capability of this power bank, you can check out the video here - • Is this the Best Power...

The cells seem to be good. There's no noticeable bulging yet. I can also see there a BMS board attached to the cells. The downside is that I have searched everywhere for this model Star 200F without success. Thanks for the video

Yeah. The cells are actually good for the output wattage that the powerbank supports. However, I was able to permanently reduce their capacity by half by running a marathon drain on them with a constant load at high wattage. But of course this would hardly ever happen when using the powerbank to charge phones.
And about not being able to find them for purchase, that's true too... This is probably the most scarce powerbank right now.
I'll be testing out a couple of different fast charging powerbanks and will make videos about any of them that I can recommend soon. Maybe you'd find one that you can actually buy. Thanks for stopping by.

@@ConfyScenty Thanks for your response. May I ask if you have a reason trying to kill the cells?

@@roymonie The idea wasn't to kill the cells. I only needed to know the durability and functionality of the powerbank when used to power high wattage load for a long time at a go. The powerbank passed the test but the cells lost their capacity significantly.

@@ConfyScenty You have done a great job 👏 With this I can confidently buy itel power bank knowing very well they build their power banks with good cells. Before now, the only power bank I trusted is Anker power banks. Their power banks are very durable. Thanks for reviewing this itel power bank!
