- During their four-year spell together, Spoelstra, James, Wade, and Bosh led the Heat to the NBA Finals in every season, and won back-to-back championships in 2012 and 2013. The trio would all depart by 2016, and the team entered another period of rebuilding. After acquiring All-Star Jimmy Butler in 2019, the Heat returned to the NBA Finals in 2020.

I always knew he was gonna leave. Just thought it was gonna be 6 years. All good tho, 2016 Heat was one of my favorite Heat squads. Then there’s 2020, we’ll be just fine this season. Herro is looking like baby Booker. Victor isn’t even back yet and we still have one more roster spot. Riley getting 2021 champ Tucker, 2020 champ Markieef, 2019 champ Lowry. I think we got a legit spot. Hopefully Tyler keeps developing
Those 2 years with Bosh and Wade were just as good as the Big 3 days. We got to see Bosh’s potential as a second option (21ppg). If he was healthy I’m confident they would have made it to the conference finals vs Cavs (if not finals). Bosh Wade Whiteside

This is a team that did not care that Lebron left. If Bosh and Wade didn't have the injuries and the blood clots, they would've been a competitive team, to have that an then draft well and take guys like Herro, Bam and others and develop them then add stats like Jimmy and Kyle is amazing by Pat. I think a lot of Heat fans love the 2020 and 2016 teams as much as the big 3 years, because they are really demonstrative of heat culture. Maybe not the top players, but a bunch of special talents coming together like a puzzle. Unfortunately, in both seasons, injuries kept a couple vital pieces out. I will go to my grave arguing that the heat with bosh would’ve won in 2016, and that the heat with goran and bam would’ve won in 2020
