How do you actually know if you're being called to priesthood? Sometimes I feel like I'm being drawn, but then I see some priests talk about how it was a very intense nagging feeling where if they didn't become a priest it'd never go away. Priesthood does interest me, but does interest relate to a calling at all? I'm trying to make sure I'm not considering it for the wrong reasons too. While I do definitely feel drawn to it, I'm also 33 years old working a minimum wage job struggling to find out what I really want to do with my life, and am single. So I don't want my current situation to be the only reason I'm thinking about priesthood. To be more clear, i don't want it to be like "well I don't have a girlfriend or wife, so celibacy won't be any different, and I can't figure out what career path would be fulfilling, so maybe being a priest will fix that". I mean that latter probably isn't the worst, maybe the reason no career path has seemed fulfilling to pursue is because God wants me to turn to priesthood. That part sits fine with me, but I don't want any part of me thinking, well if I can't find a wife, I might as well become a priest.

Never wanted a priest to say mass for me. I’ve always wanted to say my own mass I have just had to put up with it my whole life and not complain I asked Jesus why He did not want me to be a priest and I think the answer he gave was that I did not have the intelligence to be one Lhave for many years experienced the spiritual world and the good side is beautiful and glorious but the bad side is filled with horrors
