Loved this vlog! I’m studying Arabic at university and I also struggle the most with speaking and my confidence with it. I think that’s one of those things that only gets better with practice. I also get nervous talking with my professors sometimes but I try to remember they’re there to help you when you make mistakes. Also what really helps you get more comfortable speaking is being in environments where you have to use the language (or it’ll be easier to do so). I recently visited an Arabic speaking country and was super nervous about speaking at first (for the same worry you have about not wanting to mess up the language and being embarrassed at mistakes haha) but it got so much easier once I started. Still didn’t speak as much as I wanted but I think I’m more comfortable doing so now. Good luck with your Japanese speaking journey!
Also I’m currently reading soo many things 😅 I’m reading wuthering heights (been reading it forever so trying to finish it this month), Exit West by Mohsin Hamid (sci-fi magical realism and so far seems like commentary on the refugee crisis/immigration, really liking it so far), Mistborn: The Final Empire (high fantasy, a kinda daunting read but trying to get through it), and Crown of Midnight (YA fantasy).

You asked for suggestions with Milo not minding on the leash. I just wanted to pop in to say, a harness will give you way more control over Milo than the collar does. There are so many different options for styles of harnesses out there, so your options are nearly endless. That being said, I have a husky mix who thinks she’s running the dang Iditarod every time we take a walk around the block, and the 2Hounds Freedom harness has really helped to make her walks more manageable.

I'm reading the 2nd book in the Shady Hollow Mystery series. I have the third book ready to go and I've pre-ordered the 4th book that comes out in November ( yes, you could say im hooked, lol) I highly recommend the series!!! i’m currently reading volume 5 of Kemono Jihen (supernatural manga), Roar by Cora Carmack (fantasy), Code to Zero by Ken Follett (mystery), The Inevitable Collision of Birdie and Bash by Candace Ganger (romance), Instamom by Chantel Guertin (romance), Aurora Rising by Amie Kaufman (fantasy), Render by K.A. Riley (dystopia), Every Last Word by Tamara Ireland Stone (contemporary), & Little Eve by Catriona Ward (mystery). I definitely recommend Aurora Rising (it’s a series!), it’s pretty awesome so far and i’m loving the characters. I also recommend Recruitment by K.A. Riley (first before book Render), it’s a 9 book dystopian military style series that I think you’ll really enjoy!
