Bear's Vision of St Agnes is just incredible
I was super lucky to see them perform it in Ottawa last year. Awesome performance period but it was great to hear that one because it's a personal favorite.
If the weather ever withers up your vine, Jacob knows a ladder you can climb
i have no idea what it is, but there is just something about this band that has me hooked like no other. my new favorite band. i wish i had friends who are into this type of music, but you rarely find anyone my age listening to this sort of stuff :(
trust in this music. I'll tell you that almost all their music takes a different meaning depending on where you are in life.
Trust that one day you'll find someone who genuinely enjoys this music... and when you find them; never let them go.
I never thought of this album as anything more than an interesting metaphor with some beautiful imagery to tell it.
Years later, I realize this is probably my favorite cd ever released.
Megalomania's only mania if you're wrong!
The guitar playing on this album is absolutely phenomenal. The best after the big two guitar-wise.
We've both been untrue but I'm still counting on you like an invisible rosary
This album is so calming for some reason
this entire album is a story and a tale - I can't help but not listen to how the story unfolds!
AMAZING album
This entire album is wrapped in so many different meanings. The tracklisting is amazing, well told story- so descriptive and sound-full
Mewithoutyou is like a jam band, but instead of stream-of-consciousness instruments, they use vocals.
Listening to Mewithoutyou is like watching and/ or reading a indisputable classic. ⚘⚘🤘
🍻
I saw this band in 2005 and did not appreciate it at the time. I consistently come back to this band over and over through the years, it has to grow on you. This is one of my favorite albums now.
MIchael Hand same here, hated them at first, then one day something clicked and bam! 10 almost 15 years later/soon enough, still listening to them! lol
Shaun McNeil ive learned over time every single one of my deeply loved bands (where I like all their songs) tend to have to grow on me. I thnk it's because the melodies/lyrics are more complex than your average stuff, so it takes time to sink in and catch on
Rusky rambo, well-said. Same here. I bought a copy of Brother, Sister in '06 my first experience with them, and gave it to someone else after a week. Then a year later wanted it back. HAd to buy another, something shook me and i didn't like it until i realized it was a good thing, which took a while.
MIchael Hand my best friend in high school gave me a copy of A B life and I was like wtf is this? But like you said this band had to grow on you they will forever remain my second favorite band
I constantly re visit this band. I tend to obsess over them every few years. I saw them play an acoustic set on bails of hay and bang out percussion and guitars and I never forgot the experience. I truly revere this band
I don’t even listen to music anymore but this album still hits the spot.!! Peace y’all.❤️🔱
Yep it's the good stuff all right. The transition from February 1878 to Grist for the malady mill KILLS me every time
The opening riff on February 1878 may be the most original thing I've ever heard.
Sounds like a fucking train pumpin' through on the tracks! Fucking love these types of (obviously well-thought out) intricacies.
By Far into 2018 and losing..
I continue to listen.
They literally have no bad albums 🤯
This album took a long time to grow on me. The jump from Brother, Sister to It's All Crazy was kind of a head fake, so this caught me off guard. I didn't fully appreciate it until I forced myself to give it another chance. Now I love it.
Check out Brother,Sister album from them. Ten stories is like a crossbreed between the aforementioned album and Its All Crazy...enjoy!
You may see Ten Stories in a different light after you endeavor Brother,Sister
This album is deep.
im seeing them tonight nd im so excited
@casey_gatame it was pretty awesome! i saw them again in 2017 and was equally pleased by their performance
amazing album, i'm not gonna lie hayley and taylor from paramore brought me here and now it makes me really happy, i like this music
did they mention mwy as influences or did you see them live together or something?
Can't wait for the next LP coming this year
Damn Nice! Thank You!
thanks
Wow..lewis Carroll phone home
I would like to thank Taylor York/ Paramore for introducing me to this band cause they are amazing!
Everytime I listen to this it gets better...sir criticize if you must...be do be do be do
I’ll see you sometime soon.
Seen them live on Emma
I liked MewithoutYou much better when the spoken-word emotional shouts were the main vocals with melodic singing sprinkled in here and there rather than the other way around.
KOOL
much better than Its All Crazy for sure, even tho that album was amazing too, just different.
is your profile picture Holden Caulfield?
writerofbaddreams but holden caulfield would be a nod to your role model, all of our role model
this reminds me of when trolls you to come to the dance parties i would throw at my summer house when i only invited giraffes. They still kept it hype doe so whatever i mean they did bring back tupac back to life anyway so win win right boys?
i read that like five times and i still have no clue what you're trying to say

This was my brother's favorite band. I only listened really after he died and read lyrics of King Beetle in his journal while he was in the hospital. I looked them up and found this band. Glad he left me with this band as a way to always remember him. God these guys capture some powerful emotions for sure.
Hugs. People have so many stories with this band. I too.
"Our beloved's not dead, but his highness instead, has been utterly changed into fire."
Why not be utterly changed into fire?
@@moosesnWoop I think that was a song about how blindly following authority (However uninformed, though we perceive them to be all knowing) will end with a fiery death, but the poetry of it is quite beautiful.
@chubbyjubjub3593 its definitly about obtaining oneness with the infinite. Fire is a metaphor for God. You can trying to understand or conquer God like the first 2 but the only way to actually know God is to become one with Him and be consumed in the process and become something completely new.
