I agree to some of you saying there’s racism in Korea. It’s a problem that has to be fixed and I feel ashamed of those people. However I don’t represent the whole Korean community and we can’t say all Koreans are racist.
Racism is everywhere in all countries. BUT it doesn’t mean everyone from that country is racist nor deserves to have experiences like this.
saying “your got a taste of your own medicine” “ you deserve it because you are Korean” is such an inappropriate thing to say to someone who has been a victim of hate. I grew up in a foreign country. Racism was bad back then. But I never once said that country is racist - it was the individuals.
Do not invalidate my experience just because there are racists in my country. With this logic everyone from around the world is guilty.
Also I never said French people are racist. I wanted to highlight how I responded to the racisms that happened in ‘Paris’ because I know similar cases where people get hurt or intimidated that it ruins their trip. I wanted to show that it cannot and shouldn’t ruin our trip and that I don’t back down.
I never stereotyped french people or said anything hateful towards the country unlike what some people are doing here. My focus in the thumbnails and title is how I dealt with racism that happened in Paris.
And about the thumbnails and title. This is how CZcams works. You choose an impactful incident on your trip and sadly this was one of the biggest - even though we tried to brush it off.
Racism happens everywhere and it shouldn’t. instead of spreading hate maybe we should all face the problem and try all together to fix it .
I think you are not getting what people are trying to say. Maybe you are not able to understand but your video title suggests that people of Paris are racist. Also, people are actually frustrated with Korea due all the racism that happens there with the people so people just get offended by seeing your click bait title. I would recommend you to change the title because it is actually misleading.
Also, you may be wrong about racism. Maybe that person actually thought that you were Chinese and greeted you in Chinese language. Just because you don't like to be called as Chinese doesn't mean every other person is racist. I may be wrong also. one thing you did wrong in this video is putting click bait title.
@hernotebook I never mentioned he called me chinese. you can hear his voice which is obviously mocking the way I talk and he was making discriminative gestures. Is that greeting me?
Yes it’s a clickbait and usually that’s what people do on CZcams. Even videos about Korean being racists. But it was a highlight of my trip and I also want to raise awareness because it actually did happen and even though we brushed it off, you can obviously see we were hurt and disturbed.
My friend was in Paris for only 2 days and this was the only full day he had. I’m used to this kind of racism - experiencing it since I was young. But it still doesn’t feel nice.
We kept talking about it in the hotel, even after we came back.
Maybe you don’t understand but when people say “you got a taste of your own medicine, why complain when Koreans are racists, You guys deserve it, maybe it’s not racism” it really invalidates our experience.
But I take your advice and understand how this could seem to some French people and will alter to deliver my message without misleading people.
But when The victim is saying they experienced this and that it hurt them- others who aren’t related should belittle this experience
@@ThizisDanny i think people told you 'why complain when you are korean' because of your click bait title and accused the whole country in the title (even if it says otherwise in the video). I even thought that way at first.
But just because you wanted a click bait title doesn't mean you have the right to accuse the whole country just to attract an audience. It will always be misleading no matter what excuse you give right? I know you are going to hide my comment because it is a fact and doesn't match your narrative here. But just for the future don't use these kinds of titles just for your own benefit because it involves the whole country.
@@hernotebookWhere or when did I accuse the whole country? No I will not delete your comment just like I haven’t with any other comments here. because you guys are also allowed to have an opinion. But this is my channel where I share my experience. And as much as you want to belittle this incident as ‘nothing’ and say the rest of your trip was fine, this was indeed a hurtful experience for us and I was glad I bounced back at the guy and that’s what I wanted to show.
what you are doing is exactly invalidating one’s experience.
my title has nothing to do with my right to share my bad experience. You can’t say people are saying I deserve it because I made this title. I had that experience regardless of what my title was. That happened first. It’s two different things
@@ThizisDanny see how you are accusing me now. Have I anywhere tried to belittle what you experienced?? I agree with you that what you felt is bad but now you misjudged me. Maybe others have also misjudged you by your title.
Also, about deleting, you have just hidden one comment so I assume you will do the same with mine. It's good that you have not ☺.
There is so much that is amazing about this video. But the absolute best thing was seeing three friends enjoying each others companionship. Every moment seemed to be about the three of you enjoying yourselves and the time you had together. Seeing you guys just enjoying life made me smile. (and a bt envious as well).
it was unexpected but we also had a good time! it was our first trip all together and we’ve known each other for so long
No need to apologise for swearing, I think you handled the situation very well, I totally agree with you, racism is bad, it's soo pretty there😍 you're energetic friend Ceejay is like the duracell bunny 😂, even France gets snow, the part of the UK I'm in we're lucky if we see snow 😅 I'm glad you had a great trip 👍🏻
don’t usually like swearing but it really popped out!!
@@ThizisDanny dont worry, sometimes things just happen... and - in that case ... it was like a "natural reaction" 🤭
@ThizisDanny in some situations it does and in this case it's completely understandable.
@@ThizisDannyKoreans calling racism it’s like the kettle calling the kettle black , I don’t who you trying to fool but your country is well known for extreme racism trough out your society
@@ThizisDannyDan, swear as much as you want, swearing is just filter through wich we need to let our frustrations out. Better swearing than killing. We have saying in our country:"Who sings, means no harm". Swearing is like singing. Better loud protest than gun in hand.
What a fun video. Thank you for taking us along on your adventure!
Another great video. There are always good and bad things that you'll experience when traveling to another country but the good definitely outweighs the bad. I'm glad you had such a good time and didn't get frostbite from the cold.
Thoroughly enjoyed your vlog Dan and I have to say it was great seeing you guys having such a fun time. Can’t wait for the next episode. Take care.
It’s beautiful. Thanks for sharing!!
Danny, I enjoyed your little play time 😂😅 your friend is so funny which makes the experience so much fun looking at Paris through your eyes. Thank you I am glad you enjoyed your trip ❤
glad you did! yes he is funny indeed haha
Hi from DownUnder 🇦🇺
This was such a fun video to watch with you 3 together and the fun you had came across the screen so well. Especially CeeJay and his funny dances, etc.
That was nice of the taxi driver to be a tour guide as well.
Of course I must make mention that the racism part was sad and I'm sorry you had to experience that.
Does CeeJay have his own CZcams channel too?
He doesn’t have his own channel but I’ve been telling him to get one!!
Frankly, this episode of racism was disgusting. I'm so sorry you had to experience this. But this person is 100% not worth spoiling your mood during such a fun spontaneous trip. Thanks Danny for another great video, real emotions, funny and slightly crazy moments, delicious food and drinks. It was sweet and will be remembered for a lifetime. See you in the next video 😊
yeah we go over it real quick! thanked him for the entertainment’ happy people don’t have time to hate. he’s just a sad soul
^ Exactly. People who can’t deal with their own miserable lives just try to bring everyone else down to their level. Racism, religious bigotry, homophobia, they’re all just lame attempts by even lamer people to downplay the results of their own bad life management.
Notice that racism is not coming from White indigenous French it’s non whites who immigrated there from the Middle East and North Africa.
Is your red hair natural red?
@@ErenDoppleganer You surprised me with your question. Well, yes, I have natural red hair color.
You guys look so much fun!! Funny as well. I was just there two weeks ago and it was extremely cold! I miss it already!
we can be funny!!! yes it was sooooo cold. can’t wait to go back in June
Keep posting Dan! ♥
Awesome video!💜💜💜Great looks and good vibes.🤩🥰
thank you!!
I'm glad you guys still had fun despite the bad incident. Sadly, there's still things like that in this world, but don't let it get to you
I love your video! You look like you had a lot of fun. It was fun for me to watch you and your friends. I was in Paris once for 6 hours on a layover. I didn’t get to see much of it. It is on my bucket list to go there again and spend more time. I’m glad for you to be able to make such fun memories.
thank you for watching! and yes it was nice and fun :)
ooooh I had so much fun watching you! lovely trip
Nice vid dan! Hope you a nice recovery !
thank you :)
I’m actually from France, enjoy your trip even tho some french people can be angry lol..
(it’s also super rare to snow i was a bit shocked haha)
I heard it was rare for snow in Paris!! was happy I saw it
I need a friend like Ceejay in my life! He's so full of energy! Enjoyed the video and so sorry for what you went through.
What a treat for an armchair traveler. We always intended to go to Paris but never made it. We did Switzerland, Austria and Germany. You have given me such a gift, thank you.
thank you for saying so! those three countries are also on my list of places to visit!
I have enjoyed all your videos for a long time and now thank you for sharing your trip to Paris! Im hoping to travel to Korea next year and will check out your wine bar! Hello from New Zealand!
can’t wait to host you at the bar :)
I love Ceejay... smart and friendly. Can't blame him for bragging about his famous friend. Given that he travels so much, I'm shocked he doesn't have his own YT channel.
he traveled a lot in the past! but he was actually working in finance before this haha
@@ThizisDanny I can't imagine that... he seems way too funny to be in finance (stereotyping finance people).
I would also do the same thing if I were in the same situation when facing something like racism. It's appropriate to be angry at being treated like that. It doesn't mean that people who receive racist treatment in the country they visit can treat people from that country with the same treatment. It's really very inappropriate😡😊love seeing your friend ceejay.so funny..hello cee jay👋i'm working on finance too🤣tq for sharing your experience🙏😉
Well done rising above the racism. Overall, it looks like a fun, relaxing trip!
Ceejay lol 😂😂😂
He is so funny! I love the part where you were standing in line with the manniquins that were nicely dressed. You're funny, Danny! I hate racism. So glad that you didn't let it ruin your visit there in Paris. I wished I could have had a glass of wine with you guys. I always love your videos, Danny. You always do an awesome job. Can't wait for the next one!
I try to be funny sometimes! it’s hard to hold my funny side sometimes haha
Great travel vlog🙌🏻 I can’t believe people still behave so childish sometimes like that guy imitating you not to defend him but maybe he wasn’t in he’s right mind. Glad at least many others were friendly with guys. You seem like a great travel gang ❤
I think all racists are not in their right minds haha
Aww the psg store wasn’t too busy! In summer it was crazy busy, I had to try twice!
Unfortunately racism can happen quite everywhere ! That’s a pity ! Last time I was in Seoul, everybody was very kind except one day in the metro a middle age man told me in English : go back home. I was surprised, may be he was drunk. But this does not change the good memories I have from my stay in Korea.
Good on you... there will always be hateful people out there and you didn't judge a whole nation on one encounter. A lot of commenters on this video saying "but Korea is the most racist country" could really take a tip from your book, however, I have the feeling none of them have even been to Korea in the first place.
Good to see you had a good time...see you in the next reel...🎉
Hi from USA! I hope you, Gino and Ceejay are ok. Glad you had a fun time with them on this trip. Thank you for sharing. 🫶🏻
we are all good :) thank you!
Create new good memories as much you can!!
You create such fun vlogs! I agree the swearing was totally appropriate! You are so funny x
thank you so much haha
Ah I’m late…Lil jealous…..Minus the cold for me what an adorable trip you had. I see myself in Ceejay when I’m with the right folks y’all make him comfy in his skin. And laughter such great medicine. And so brave no ticket or hotel til got there. I’m learning so much about travel from you.
Dan enjoy life to the fullest 😊 ❤️ I'm always so very excited to see where you go next enjoy your travels be safe 😀 Dan 😊
wondering where my next stop will be!
First time seeing your videos i really like learning about other countries love from greece
Thank you for posting this incident. I am an Asian American and my generation was taught to keep quiet and don’t make trouble. I applaud all people speaking up against hate and hope I can speak up in future like you did. Let’s face it…it’s not “if” it will happen, but “when”. I loved seeing you and your friends enjoying Paris!
Be safe and extra careful out there Dan. This world is becoming more scary by day 😅 Thanks for making the videos. I enjoy watching them pretty much 😊
you’re welcome! thanks for watching :)
Congratulations with the 100k sub! . and i like the video,
not the person there was racism 🤮
What a great time in Paris with good friends enjoying Eiffel Tower, good food and wine. As long as you create such memorable moments, that is all that matters in life. Love you guys! 😍🍷🧀💗
yes that’s all that matters!! it was such a good experience!!
I am sorry that you and your friends had to experience that. You handled it very well and when it comes to racism, like you said, you have to be firm and not back down. Ugh,some people. Aside from that,Ceejay is making me smile and laugh so hard! 😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤ Have a great day Dan!
🤫🤫🤫 pass by .You dont have to apologize my sister because they will turn and be racist to you
Got this video through youtube algorithm 😮
You handled it like a pro, respect from Shanghai ✌️
except for ofc the racist part, which im sorry u and ur friends had to experience, this video was so wholesome and ceejay is so funny i laughed out loud multiple times! y'all seem like such a fun group to travel with, I hope to see many more videos of you guys making happy memories together, it made me miss my friends too! :))
The "nimporte quoi" at the end really made me laugh, I was never able to find a similar expression in English with the same impact when I want to express it hahah
CeejaythankyoufortheentertainmentthatwassofunnyLol I am glad that everyone still had a nice time😊
Glad you made some good memories
The part of your friend singing "I will never fall in love until I've found you..." almost made me spill my food🤣. You guys are the perfect pair, the calm "Gino", the crazy "Ceejay" and the cool one "Dan". I pray you guys have more happy moments together
It looks like you had such a fun time! You just encountered one rude person. I was in Paris just once a long time ago. I was singled out everywhere I went and treated in a special way. I started to feel like they were mistaking me for someone famous. I was with someone from my job and they were ignoring her. I kept asking her what was going on. She acted like she knew, but she wouldn't say. Eventually, someone said it probably was because I was American and they were expecting that I would spend more money.
I’m sorry about what happened to you! 😭 Racism just hurts different and can be so dehumanizing. My last vacation to Canada I had a very racist experience that left me shook up the rest of my trip. So I’m so glad you didn’t let it ruin your whole trip!
yes it can have an impact on us but let’s just think they are sad people projecting their sadness through hate…! so we can enjoy these valuable times
Yeah, Danny... a video about a spontaneous trip with good friends to Paris completely unexpectedly turned into raising such a sore subject... People, let's be kinder. We are all different. And that's great.
true this is becoming a sore subject but I’m actually glad to put it out here and see what people actually think.
Some are supportive, some are mean and some have a point.
@@ThizisDanny This is a very complex problem, its root lies in the differences between us; we often cannot find a common language with loved ones, let alone people of a different culture, race, etc. We love simple solutions, this is a fact, because it is much easier to understand your compatriot than a foreigner. This probably works at the level of the “friend or stranger” instinct in order to remain as safe as possible. But we are people, not animals. We must control our instincts, evaluate the situation wisely and respect each other. And the old truth “treat others the way you want them to treat you” has not been canceled.
No worries racism is very common in South Korea especially for brown and black people. It’s good to have a taste of your own medicine once in a while. Cheers
So according to your logic, it’s ok if someone does something bad from your country, that’s why you should also „taste your own medicine“, although you didn’t do anything wrong? Wildly unfair , right? How about channeling your energy into something more positive like being part of the solution and not part of the problem? ✌🏻
Absolutely, that's how they learn. You are just blinded because of your fanaticism and glorification for them.
@@davethomas7028 Oh, you think that`s why I do that without even knowing anything about me? That`s cute. 😂I do have a question though: Who are "they"? The ones that racism happened TO or the ones who actually do racism? With your logic, it`s hard to tell and I don`t want to judge or stereotype or generalize like certain others do. 😅👍 However, I wish you well and can only genuinely hope for you that one day when something like this happens to you, karma doesn`t show up. ✌
I guess by that logic it's okay for you to be the victim of racism too. This mentality of "hate deserves hate" is part of the problem, not the solution.
That's a cute logic. What you are missing is that you are living in a fairy tale and I am just exposing facts about how south korean treat others who are not white. We all know the solution why don't you tell their people that.
I'm from France, living in Paris and I'm sorry you have to experience that 😔 but hope you still enjoyed your stay.
Glad you had lots of fun and laughs with your friends in spite of the rude comment. You're so close to 100,000 subscribers, Dan. I expect to see that plaque very soon.
thank you so much !
❤❤❤❤love your all videos
Just 'found' this vlog. So good to see you smile and have fun with your pals. Sorry about the rude people. There's a few of them in every country. Best ignore them if you can. All the best from the UK. D
lmao not him singing NEWWYORRK being in paris😭 anyways loved this content!
When are you visiting Namibia!
Sorry about racistic remarks. One thing I have learned traveling is there will unfortunately always be people like that. I cuss in my languages too, don't feel bad for cussing on video!
Loved this, you guys are so funny ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
감사합니다 ❤️❤️❤️
searched some photos of Namibia! it looks soooooooo cool!!!!!!!
★✰Congratulations to your first 100K , Dan ★✰
So glad that you got your 100K before Lunar New Year 🎉
Thank you!!!
This kind of memories are the best because you didn’t expect anything and everything can happen…. I like this very much because no expections nothing can be bad…😅😅😅 .. thx again to share your trip and your impression. Who knows maybe we will see us in Austria ❤ little sweet country with a nice culture❤
Austria some day for sure!!! thank you
Paris in the dead of winter? OMG, I could feel the cold! Spring is probably the most beautiful time of year to visit that iconic city. So glad you guys enjoyed it there tremendously, despite the weather.
I’m glad you overcame that incident of racism quickly, but I could see how much it shocked and upset you. Racism always sucks, but it’s got to be harder when you’re not used to it. Coming from an extremely homogenous country, where you are among the majority, you never have to give racism a second thought. I know you personally spent a number of years outside of Korea, Dan, so you must have experienced it in other places. Still, it never gets easy dealing with racism, does it?
Racism regardless of who it’s from or where it happens is bad and would definitely make the person feel bad.
Hopefully world is changing slowly to shame everyone who does it!
안녕하세요! Great video! Sorry you experienced racism - some people are just full of hate, but it was great that you guys didn't let it spoil your trip! And so many other people were so friendly and kind, it made me want to see Paris myself one day :) But not before I see South Korea (my dream destination!)
I’m glad you went head on and spoke to the racism. It should be called out. Everyone that lets the disrespect go, is letting the problem grow. You did well.
To the world:
Be human already!
Venir visiter Paris, mais quelle idée ?! 😉 Merci beaucoup pour votre vidéo.
Avoir de la neige sur Paris, cela est de plus en plus rare.
6:32 that slick back was epic 😂😂❤
Oh, I didn't know the tower was lit at night! We were there in November, but during the day. Y'all be safe and have fun!
yeah it’s beautiful when it’s lit! I remembered it from my last trip :) thank you!
the funny thing is that most of them who makes fun of asians are foreigners/immigrants themselves from the middle east or africa .
This is true, but not to excuse their actions but often they are also very desperately poor, most homeless as they are refugees and the locals don't like to hire them. In Italy a refugee who seemed to come from Africa shouted at me China China because I didn't give him money (he was begging all over town). Apparently all Asians are from China for these sad and broken people.
@@remmond3769 That’s a complete cliché
G@@remmond3769 senseless comment
This is false. The only people who have a problem with other races are white people
@remmond3769 no it's not. This is passing the blame. You know that
After viewing your video, I want to travel to Paris, with my friends!
highly recommended!
Nice people make the world a better place
Hi Dan, I just read your story. The process shocked me too. Such a shame.😔 Because this YT video is so, so great!!!❤️❤️❤️ So adorable and entertaining. Look at it. Think back to your time in France with your friends. Don't let it upset you and don't let it affect you. Imagine eating a crepe or a fresh baguette in Paris. You are one of the greatest people I have had the pleasure of meeting. Even if we didn't talk and it was only fleeting. I saw and felt what a wonderful person you are. A warm-hearted virtual hug for you. Simone
I had a good time regardless of my experience!! and we met so many nice people :)
Happy to read that❣️ and to get an answer 🫶!!
* I don't know how many nice things I've said to you.🫣😆 That was my biggest compliment ever.😇🥰😉 You could at least have said friendly: Me too. It was nice to meet you.😅😅😅
Love it 💚
First I am sorry you and your friends experienced racism but you handled it well and used a negative to express a positive message. What a great trip with your friends. The good far exceeded the ugly.
paris saint germain shop! oh gosh!!
Great memories with great friends that's all that matters ❤❤❤.
for sure! that’s all that matters :)
@@ThizisDanny 🙂
France & italy & Greece were my top 3 experiences for racism. Luckily my husband knows Italian and was firm at telling racist off. In Greece , they had double standards for Asians vs whites . Eg group of white old ladies were allowed to chill and seat at a cafe facing a Greek beach we were at. They were wet from swimming in the sea. Meanwhile, we dried ourselves already but were told we can’t seat . I told off the waiter and talked to the manager and pointed at those old ladies . They backed off and suddenly became moderately nice . So yes, in Europe you must be firm and stand up for yourselves.
While you are there, go to the oldest coffee shop in the world. Café Le Procope. I was there in 2016 and i loved it👍😁
oh next time in June!!
No apology is needed in that situation. if he understood that you just swore about what he had said and got in your face then that would be a different story Dan because I wouldn't want you to get in trouble. I agree with you on the whole subject too. some people think is awesome to be plain old rude but it is most certainly not.
Glad that your trip was a success over all. This video was enjoyable because it makes me happy seeing your having fun 😊
these losers usually get intimidated when we show strong expressions. and we were surrounded by people so it was ok!
I am french of japanese descent, and I am so sorry that you have experienced that racism in Paris. There are more nice french people than that kind of guy. I was so angry to see that interraction, but there are bad people everywhere in the World. By the way, I went to Korea for the first time in my life one month ago, in Seoul with my family. I really really enjoyed Seoul, what a beautiful city! Frankly speaking, I was a bit worried before going there, because I heard that some koreans dislike japanese people because of the atrocities committed by the japanese army during the war. But it was the opposite, we were admirably welcomed by such friendly, kind and frank people, actually a lot of koreans tried to speak to us in japanese in order to help us, it was pretty amazing and heartwarming ❤. I enjoyed Gyeongbokgung (great museum about korean culture!), Jongmyo sanctuary (there I learnt about the great influence of confucianism in Korea), Seoul Tower, Lotte tower (amazing view!!), Nandaemun market (amazing grilled fish!), Hong Dae, Myongdong and the night market, Samcheong-dong, etc (So many places I wanted to visit but had no time!), it was a total blast, culturally, technologically, and gastronomically! I want to return back to Seoul as soon as possible! I hope you had a nice trip in France. Take care and Vive la Corée!
as you can see in the video, I met many many nice french people!
No no hate towards certain country! it’s always certain people who makes relationship between countries bad.
Glad you had a good time here! 🙏🙏👍
@Rob-iz6nmI think it is irrelevant where they came from. They themselves may most likely have experienced racism also from French natives and are redirecting it to other people. Not excusing their actions just saying that there was no need to say they are not "really French" because there are many actually white French people who are also racist. Also, as you can see in this video there are people who are "not French looking" who are nice, those girls in the shop for example. I would guess that being homeless, not having job, maybe with some mental issues could create bitterness that manifest as racism in anybody regardless of whether they are French looking or not. The worst people are those who are rich, well off and yet still racist.
Hi Dan, seems like you had a great time regardless of the jerks you came across... I love watching yr vlogs....my daughter is a kpop fan nd would like to go to Korea one day..and so would i.and your advice are great.next time u come to France maybe we could meet up some place!?... no worry, I'm much older than you so won't hit on you...I'm frenchnd could be nice us meeting a korean nd you( maybe) meet up with french person!.. though I'm sure you have loads of contacts all over the place...anyway, was great seeing yr paris trip. Take care .
maybe if our paths cross!! I’ll be in France maybe in June :)
Hello guys thank you for this video, as a french citizen I apologize for this act of racism and I am very sorry that it has marred your stay in Paris. Thank you for choosing our country for your stay and I hope you will come back very soon.
Anyoaseo Dan, I’m a French follower of you! I would have come to Paris if I had known that you are here 😅 ! I’m fascinated about Korea! I hope you met some nice people and I see you have enjoyed your trip! 😍
I’m going back in June actually! can’t wait!!
Wow I love snowfall ❤ and the Eiffel Tower 🗼 is looking beautiful at night. Although I also liked wine🍷. Enjoy your journey friends. And yes racism is really bad I agree. People should not be like this. I support you Dan.
The world is equal for everyone. 😊👍👏
yes racism can’t be justified!!!
The girls in the shop look so sweet, esp. when they found out there was a camera filming them 😅❤
I like the wine store. Maybe you'll have inspirations 😃
I guess you are warm blooded, that is why you freeze. In Denmark, some people still walk in shorts in the snow 😂
That ugly guy making fun of you has issues with himself and because he can see you are filming he wants attention. Like a little baby. Only imature small sad brained people act racism to others 😒🙄🤜🤛
You and your friends look very lovely in the video and I am happy to be able to follow your journey. You are polite, kind and lovely people 🥰 I love your content ⭐️
I really like your friend's energy. What does he eat?😂
I like it when you speak Korean (I am learning it) and I am very happy to see you smile. You deserve to be happy 🫶 Lovely video 😍
the girls in the shops were so nice and friendly!! they were asking when I’ll post it so hopefully they do!!
1:10 that's a chinese Douyin trend music hahahahahaha hilarious, good one
Must have been a beautiful time there!! The snow makes it even more perfect. In Ireland we had very little snow this year. 😊
Racism is something us chocolates 🍫 are used to by now. Never okay but…
it’s never ok and we should not get used to it!! I condemn everyone who does it
All you can do is make a difference yourself, and I believe you are doing a good job on it.
I’ve experienced a lot of racism in Europe, like when I’m in Italy, France and Spanish people are being rude to me. Well racism happens everywhere. Not all people are racist so I still love traveling to Italy, France hehe it’s my favorite countries🥹🤍
I am french, parisian, and I am so sorry for this. Ceejay's dance is so great. You guys must try natural wines, they have not clear dress, but they are so tasty and classy :)
no need to be sorry! Yeah I actually had some natural wine afterwards!!
Ceejay is that kind of friend i really wanted to have..❤
he’s so funny 😂
I wish you talk this proactively about racism by koreans towards Indians , in korea, I never justify any kind of racism but if you felt it , you shouldn’t let it happen in your own country …
You're acting like he has control over the actions of others. He doesn't. He can't stop people from being racist, just as you can't stop people in your country from being racist toward others. What he can do is choose not to perpetuate the racism himself and be open and compassionate to everyone regardless of their race.
Also, you're asking him to talk about something he isn't qualified to talk about. He's not racist towards those people and isn't the one experiencing the racism, so anything he has to say on it will be viewed with criticism.
I will talk about it one day on my channel but not in this typical video of my trip in Paris
@@Krystal109 all i am asking for is spreading awareness and urging people to deal with matters more sensibly, there’s no such thing as qualifications to not do bad or to stop it from happening or to talk and get the word out, or to experience what others are feeling, being in their boots, I apologise is my comment led to your discomfort or a meltdown.
I don't get it. What happened? Please give the exact time in the video when it happened so that I can view it again.
Bro, that stare down tho👍😎😅
I'm so disgusted with humanity at times. Sorry for your unfortunate experience with racism. You and your friends handled it very well. I'm extremely happy to see that you all carried on and continued to live your best life by having fun and making memories in Paris. Good for you all.
yeah we won’t let those small things to get to us!!!
Sad to say racism is everywhere it come in many forms so sad cause beauty is in variety of people and things. I am so happy growing up I had the opportunity to become friends with people of different races this keep me open minded and you can learn so much from variety of people. Well this is all I have to say annyong Dan
Nice to see you ❤🫶🏻
Oh, Dan what a fun video! I had to watch it twice!!😀Your friends seem so fun especially Ceejay!! He is quite the character!😂 Awesome pics of Paris. Beautiful and romantic for sure.
You are right, wine and cheese is my thing to! I will look for le Puy locally. I also love fois gras and escargot!! My sister was ill with cancer and in her final days she would request fois gras. I would sit and feed it to her!💗 I loved the part where the girl said you were famous and you answered no. Dan, you are famous!! If a little old lady from Ohio knows who you are, then you are famous! No need to apologize for swearing! Sometime the moment calls for it! Shame on that guy!!😡God made us all and just look how boring the world would be if we were all the same!! Anyway, this was so enjoyable and so thank you very much for sharing with us your travels!!💞
Ceejay is one of the funniest person! and Gino was also funny even if it doesn’t show here haha so it was a great trip!
I’m sorry to hear about your sister but glad you have some memories to recall that can be reminded by small things such as food!
I did find Le Puy wine, but it was 70.00 dollars a bottle!😮. I’m not cheap, but I passed on it! 😂😂
@@vickieshubat899 that’s pricy! It was cheaper there for sure…..
We being Indians also faced racism at one railway station at Paris
But at the same time one lady came out of her car on busy roads to help my wife to pull out my stuck wheelchair
so sorry to hear that. But surely there are nice people also :)
You are Hindu or Sikh , you ain’t Kashmiri Muslim.
I don’t think you face racism here , it’s so easy to distinguish Indian Hindu Buddhist Sikh Jain to Indian Muslim just about face and features.
Also French have a good perception of Hinduism because it promotes vegetarian food , reincarnation, spirituality and yoga.
Hinduism was always ok with La Laïcité.
Pakistani and Bangladeshi are the most controversial Bharati diasporas here.
Also light skin privilege does not exist in France while Indian born in UK and America are bleached 5 shades lighter and still facing big discriminations.
@@DearBill sorry to tell you but all south asians are seen as the same in the west. they can't tell the difference
@@cambodianpleasuresquad1753 Hinduphobia , Jainphobia and Sikhphobia exist.
Don’t know if Buddhaphobia exist , but into Muslim communities they hate Buddha statues.
"Islamophobia" has been created by Muslim Brotherhoods and Ayatollahs. Never existed.
In France people tends to distinguish Indian Muslims to Indian Non-Muslims.
Perception isn’t the same.
It’s quite acceptable to refuse eating eggs and cow here , which halal is genuinely politic.
Also Desi diaspora is the least bleached in France , in London they pressured to be light skinned for get average jobs.
@DearBill are you dismissing his experience?
Yes I agree with the racism in Paris specially. I came from Indonesia. First time visit Paris with my British husband had that experience. I heard from British friends about how French treated foreigner tourist who can’t speak their language. Japanese in Japan used to have this attitude. I was hurt but that helped me to understand why. So I learned a bit of their language, also Spanish also Japanese and Hangul!!! You know what respond I got when I can just some daily words? They love me! So they also jealous can’t speak any other language but French. We speak dual even triple language! And your beauty is above all. Take it they are jealous of you to help you to shun me and learn to understand more. Life is beautiful. Oh seems your team made fun of other people? That is of good
Thank you Dan for your vlog full of humor and good humor. In any case, the racist person will not have succeeded in ruining your stay in Paris and that is the main thing to remember. See you soon I hope 🎶🎤" at the Champs-Elysées lala lala la..."Thank you also to your friends Dan 👏❤️❤️❤️😍
he sure didn’t! I was grateful for the little entertainment he gave 😂
I feel bad they had to experience the racism but the guy looks off... I'm shocked that they handled it so well. my friends would've started recording him and exposed him lol. also, as a true "I" I have never taken a "spontaneous" trip before so this was fun to watch & allowed me to experience the beauty of Paris vicariously. thank you!
Thank you for sharing your fun and memorable time in Le Paris, Danny. You have great friends traveling with you and make your trip more colorful and enjoyable. Ignore the racist slurs from lowlifes. They're not worthy of your precious time. By the way, when you travel with friends, do you share the costs? Or how does it work? Or, do you take turns in paying?
when I travel with friends, usually one person pays everything and then split at the end of the trip.
I usually make a file of all the spendings :)
@@ThizisDannythank you. That's a great idea. That's fair for everyone to have the same expense and being sure all the receipts are kept and accounted for. I traveled with friends last year but we took turns paying for food and beverages. We offered to share the cost if the bill is higher than what we thought it should be. No one is disadvantaged with paying more than the others. Sometimes, we're happy to shout our friends with special meals too. 👌😊
I love this video from the first second to the end. You had fun. That's the most important for me!🧚♀️🧚♀️Even this stupid incident doesn't matter. The nice and the good is more and the taxi driver is super nice. You are a great team and all three are wonderful. I would like to borrow your dancing friend on my parist tour. He is super entertaining. 🥰🙌
Cheese with wine is always good. Or salty. Dan, how tasty was the croissant on a scale of 1-10? And there were cold or warm coffee for you?
the croissants were good but not the best ( I had some later on)
I managed to get iced coffee!!
It's cool that you were at the ⚽️ store. Did you also buy a PSG trikot? 🥐 I always eat using a special technique. First the corners, then I peel it, so to speak, and finally eat the soft core. The best comes last.😃@@ThizisDanny
Ceejay and you Dan have beautiful french accents. You did such a great job swerving the racist punk. Your trip looked amazing best wishes.
Racism is bad anywhere in the world but would really appreciate if you spoke out on the racism within South Korea. Racism is so bad in South Korea that United Nations has repeatedly appealed to the South Korean government to adopt comprehensive anti-discrimination law with no avail. I even remember a case from 2017 where an individual from a particular country was denied entry to a business establishment and when asked why he was told he just wasnt allowed. The owner of the business establishment later tried to lie about the whole episode but fortunately for this individual his friend recorded the entire video. And this was not a rare incident infact there are plethora of videos and images showing blatant discrimination or racism against individuals from certain countries in South Korea. Now im not saying all South Koreans discriminate or are racists but if ordinary South Korean citizens dont speak on racism within their country then this issue will never be addressed. Came across this courageous South Korean women in Canada who went onto further explain the issue in South Korean society. She in simple terms said there is a bit of superiority complex, which is even more horrifying. Again im not saying all South Korean are like this but unless ordinary ppl speak up and ask for anti-discrimination and anti-racism laws this situation will continue to persist.
