How funny was Ginger and Eric on the throne.. I died!
I am so sick of Bill/Sookie. I guess the show runners couldn't care less that basically ALL this time, most of the fans (at least 90% that I have ever talked to) have wanted Eric/Sookie. Not Bill and Sookie. Just because Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are married in real life doesn't mean that their characters have to end up together. The episode is titled 'Thank you.' how about thanking the fans by giving us what we want? Oh wait..there's only one episode left and that entire preview was filled with the thing that I have disliked since about the second season..
Doug Rug I'm aware. It just seems strange that they're doing the opposite of what the fans want. Also, there was once an interview where Alan said 'Bill and Sookie are soul mates'...so basically it seems like they're doing what they want and saying fuck what the fans want..

The ginger and eric scene was fucking hilarious, i laughed the whole way through, the look on erics face was priceless and to think pam was downstairs listening to ginger squealing was just the cherry on top

I like Sookie and Bill too but I just don't think they should stay together but it's just a tv show of Bruckner and Ball and they are the ones who can write whatever they want even though some people like to think they will always do a fan-service to them. I just hope Bill won't die because I've got many of my favorite characters dead. But what can we do if they are fine with killing Bill.

Such an emotional ending to a fantastic show. I fell in love with TB all over again this season. Will miss it for sure.
So, I'm guessing that Sam comes back and that the "unexpected inheritance" Andy comes upon is Bill's house, which makes sense considering Bill is Andy's ancestor. Now whether Bill dies for Andy to get the house or he simply leaves with Sookie into the sunset, we'll find out in the finale.

So sad to see the show end. I know alot of people think it sucks these days but I really love it. Some guy on Tumblr said he worked on the True Blood set or something like that and pretty much put the ending out there. Not sure if it's 100% true but the ending he gave is pretty much good. Since I'm not sure if it's real or not, I guess I can say what he said, Bill doesn't die, he becomes human somehow and I think ends up with Sookie, Eric lives too, didn't give much information other than that, I think he posted that Sookie looses her fae powers too.
I saw that guys post too, don't know if its true or hes just an attention seeker? I think I would be happy with that as long as eric lives! or sookie becomes vampire, just as long as she doesn't end up with sam.
I think that if it was true HBO would have deleted that post...i know that all the members of the cast sign a contract of confidenciality and if they say anything thay have to pay a lot of money to the network...not sure if somebody could be so stupid...

REALLY? Even the last promo ever of True Blood has to be filled up with Bill/Sookie scenes? It makes me sick! Why the hell am I not even a little bit sad because TB is ending? Why am I rather sad because of the way this show has come to an end? For God's sake, you're supposed to be devasted, not relieved by it!

Why are they making the show finale all about Sookie and Bill? I haven't cared about that pairing since season 2, and I thought that nobody else did. I really hope there's gonna be a few cool Eric scenes in the last episode, his arc seems to be building up to something so far...

As for the show, it was Sookie / Bill at first, then it genuinely switched to Sookie / Eric for a couple of seasons and then, both the people and the show stopped caring, I'd say. And I don't mind - there're more important things in the show's world than who her boyfriend is. Which is why it'll be so weird if they make the finale all about Sookie / Bill.

I can't belive its ending. True Blood is one of my favorite tv shows. Me, my brother and my mom love it. I'm buying every season on dvd. :)

I just think that the writers did a great job destroying bill's personality, making him become evil and craz, and now they want us to love them as a couple again, these bullshits about "the epic love" are no sense, people change and so change their relationships, it's quite impossible to merry the first person you ever loved, ok, vd is following the fans' will, but at least you can see the story of a woman that during the years evolves and goes on with her life despite her "epic first love". Sookie's personality,instead, is the same of the first season, ok, now she's mature and kicks asses but she' always the blond girl who's looking for the epicolove story. The only thing that I hope right now, to save the idea I have of this show, is to make sookie turn into a vampire, and not bill into a human.
In any case, I'm gonna miss this show.

No, I may be the only fan of TB that likes Bill and Sookie but thinks they shouldn't be together. Sookie should stand on her own imo. Yeah I like watching them but I won't treat writers and producers of TB and their show like sh** if the show's ending is not exactly like I want it to be.

I don't care what the haters say... I will always and forever love Bill and Bill/Sookie on my end...
I know Bill has done a lot of bad things and I will say that I'm not exactly fond at those times but I guess what's severed me from the others who hates his character is coming to terms of understanding and differentiating, oh, as well as forgiving a character.
Bill and Sookie romance holds alot of what true love has to be honest because there's forgiveness and honestly forgiveness is what makes a relationship last in a long run. They have been through countless obstacles, separations and they still end up back to where they started (i.e. they still love each other = can't truly move on from each other); this is true love. True love does not have to end happily, but it doesn't negate their love for each other being true.
Bill loves Sookie and all he ever wanted to do after he fell in love with her was protect her. Sookie loves Bill because no matter who she's with, she can never truly let go of him. If she did ever truly let go of him then they wouldn't have still love each other the way those two did in the end. There's no denying that their love is true from the start to the end, just sadly the writers have to make it as a 'star crossed lover' sense.
People are free to ship whatever they want but for me, my love for Bill and Bill/Sookie remains the same because I forgive him and also because I never fault all the things Bill did while being under the influence of Lilith because I know that isn't the real him.
Bill and Sookie have chemistry and while they did not get their happiness in this series, I'm happy that they both can find their happiness outside of fiction and for that I wish them both happiness for the rest of their life.
Thank you for making true blood memorable to me, and thank you for introducing me to this couple.

I reaaaally can't believe this series is ending! I haven't watched a series that has gone through stuff with me more than True Blood :'( I hope EVERYONE get's a happy ending :(( AND WARPAINT'S SONG "LOVE IS TO DIE" JUST MADE IT MORE REAL THAT THIS AWESOME SHOW IS ENDING
Look the trailer makes it clear that bill will die and to be more accurate in several scenes we see sookie burying him BUT would they make such an OBVIOUS declaration through the promo?? I think we haven't witnessed the ultimate plot twist yet...

Not too sure how i feel about this season. Guess i expected it to be much better with more twists.
Maybe the finale will make up for that but i highly doubt it.

I'm glad Jessica/Hoyt got back together,and Eric took the cure..the rest of this season has sucked. Any of the storylines aside from Sookie/Bill were far more enjoyable to me. Best emotionally awesome ep from the series imo,was when Godric sacrificed himself. :(

I know, I can't believe it, these characters have been like family, it's all ending tonight, there have been a lot of flaws but the show has been one entertaining ride, all good things have to come to end.

This show had so much promise...
Seasons 1 and 2 were quite good. Season 3 was ok, but I could see the cracks in the armor, but it was helped by Russell.
After that...its literally this in every season...
1. Boring dialogue
2. Sex Scene
3. Boring dialogue
4. Sex Scene
5. You think something happens, but nope, in fact the writers start forgetting/ignoring things
6. More boring dialogue
It seems like they were too scared to kill off any of the mains until the very end, so they backed themselves into a corner.
That and they had to cater to all the fan girls all the time with Bill/Sookie, Sookie/Eric that nothing else really got substantially interesting play, except for the Hoyt/Jason/Jess saga.
In the end, it was a generic vampire show that made the vamps too overpowered to the point where they feel like unstoppable X-Men, a main character that nobody gave a shit about (Sookie) and side characters that never really got good enough writing.

I was left unsatisfied by the ending...
I personally don't want no damn Sookie with Eric. Don't get me wrong, I love Eric but he can def find someone else as fine as he is. I think that many of you forgot season 1. In that particular season Sookie and Bill fell in love with each other at first sight. She was even a virgin when she met him and they loved each other. What she had with Eric was pure lust. It may have turned into "friendship" love but when they were together that was clearly lust not love. Team Bookie. Oh and Jessica and Hoyt SO SO happy they are reunited.

Sookie barely talked to him for what like 2 seasons and now she's all like he's my first love and i can't let him go? She's the one that didn't want to be with Bill anymore. Don't even get me started on Sookie and Eric, because if you even paid attention you would know that their relationship was not based on lust.

It's strange (or funny?) because a lot of fans are talking about Sookie Eric Bill... but True Blood, is it only Sookie Eric Bill ????? The subject of True Blood is more interesting and deep than a simple love triangle with the most boring question at the end : Sookie with Bill or with Eric or Sookie alone ?
I don't understand why too many fans just want and care about a conventional end for this series, a series which principally criticizes a lot of discriminations, so real in our world, with lots of intelligent and funny metaphors.
To watch True Blood like Twilligh by example, it's like killing True Blood.

Not very happy if this happens
Second to last episode was a bit half filler and half reconciliation.
I expect the same thing with the final episode. It won't be all out action but it will have a lot of random scenes not needed, and likely a couple unneeded sex scenes just to take up time.
I was satisfied with Tara's ending because it was believable and made sense next to the earlier seasons. Hoyt/Jason/Jessica seemed to be wrapped up in this past episode, with a bit of decent writing and some shit writing of course.
I expect (or hope) Bill's arc to be concluded with this final episode, with him rejoining his human family.

i almost can't wait for the series to be over. the writers have been so inconsistent with story lines and butchering characters left and right. I'll be slightly relieved to see it end.
I will be really upset if Sookie doesn't end up with Eric, that is endgame for me.
But regardless, no ending with ever be as bad as the HIMYM series finale.

I mean dont get me wrong I loved Pam and Eric, the little or nothing we saw of alcide, lafayette and mickey, arlene and keith, but they could have done so much better!!! And now this bullshit! I am just hating right now, I dont want to mutate into a hater, but I just really hate that the writers always say that they have to go back to TB roots, and for them it is apparently Sookie and Bill ending up together, but that is really the last thing I want, I would prefer her ending up alone than with Bill!!

there have been a few good scenes, but overall the writing this season has just been atrocious. it's drawn out, lacks climax and closure, forced, hasty, random addition of irrelevant scenes/characters, actionless, and waaaay too many bill flashbacks that added nothing to the story nor his depth of character. I've only been interested in eric and pam this season. pretty much indifferent to all the human characters. was happy to see hoyt, and very annoyed at all the screentime his girlfriend got. the writers promised a lot of death this season and they haven't really delivered yet, so heres hoping bill, sookie and jessica get wiped out. sincerely going to miss tuning into seeing alexander skarsgaard every week. *sheds a tear*
