Most employers now requires at least 6 months to a year of CLINICAL experience.
But there are still some who accepts Filipino nurses without experience.
However, I would advice to rather have clinical experience for easier and smoother processing.
If you are still starting your UK RN dream and has no clinical experience, while you are planning to process, apply for clinical work setting first. And along the way, your experience is running while your processing too.

Choose nurse and midwifery category ONLY and not pediatrics even if you’re a pedia nurse in the Philippines. They have other process and qualifications for pediatric nurses in the UK and we are not eligible for it.

Hello, I would like to know if it is mandatory to take the IELTS exam before taking the CBT exam. Alternatively, is it possible to take either of the two exams first? Thank you for your clarification.
In my time, it’s not mandatory to take ielts before cbt. But mandatory when you take for osce.

At first wala akong agency sa pinas kasi pahirapan nga mag apply pag direct ka pinas. So naghanap ako ng direct na agency sa uk at dun ako nag submit ng application. TTM healthcare solutions ung agency na un. Once na approve nila ako, tinawagan nila ung ph agency nila na tawagan ako at e process na papers ko which is JScontractor sila naka tap.

Felina, when did you start processing the 2nd part of the registration? The one with the health declaration and all that? Is the certificate of good standing required?
Hi. I started processing right after I passed my exams - ielts and CBT. Since the health declaration is only valid for 6 months. And yes, the certificate of good standing was required in my time (2019) so I don’t know if it still is now.

@aikcastle5043 yes you can. But I suggest, when you pass both exams, find an employer right away because these exams expire in 2 years. Then when you have an employer, process the health declaration and the cert of good standing (if needed in this time).
@mrsfelinacapulso i already passed both, it's just that the interviews for international nurses wanting to enter UK are in hold.

Maam, is it okay to take CBT first? Then OET?
It is okay. As for me, I assured first that I passed the english test ( I had IELTS so I don’t know the difficulty level of OET) since cbt is easier to pass than the English test. Because I don’t want to waste the validity of the CBT while I am still struggling to pass an english exam. But this is just my opinion.
