Facts! It should've been 1,500 at the most.
I received $800 trade in on my 2 year old fold3 (with a broken big screen) when I got the fold5.
Yes I paid $1700 for the fold3 when it was new, but I suppose that can be considered an initial investment.
My fold3's screen lasted about 20 months before stress cracking down the middle (multiple folds daily)...
Long story short, if the fold5 last at least 20 months AND they offer me $800+ when I replace it, I think the price is reasonable.
If this screen fails before 18 months, I'll probably move away from folds.
LOL! I love it! I mean like, maybe the watch 6 is a bit rough, but this case, a charging block and a letter is definently needed for the price.

Keeps with the sleek design of the phone...simple and basic. I love how the pen stores but for $100 I feel like it should have a kickstand
You can also get this case with kickstand but without the spen then
I can tell that you haven't used the slim case for even a few hours because as nice as the case and slim as it is, the weakness lies in the top cover where once you remove it once or twice to wipe off the terrible amount of lint the phone accumulates in your pocket, it won't be sticky any more and the top frame keeps falling off very easily. Any case that needs some sort of stickers to keep it in place is just plain bad design

Floss maybe you would agree, I'm a Samsungnite & have had every Samsung fold starting with the Fold 2 & preordered my Fold 5. The thing that sucks about these Samsung cases or most fold cases in general is they look great & feel great at first but once you take off that case even once after putting it on, that tape never really sticks the same, pretty much rendering that top screen part of the case useless. They should find a way to make the front case snap on just as good as the back part without the necessity of the tape... That's a fail for a $100 case in my eyes
Some attach without the needing adhesives, because they use a small plastic pin-like tab to go into one hole of the speaker grills.

The upper part of this case reminds me of the Samsung case i had for my Z Fold 3, the outer part snapped in the corner, no droppage involved, checked online and i wasnt the only one to have experienced this, wonder if this will be more durable.
I've been rocking the zfold 4 caseless the last 3 months. And this case looks so clutch , I picked it up on pre order . Having a case with s pen is perfect imo .

I’m not really excited by the rumors on the iPhone 15 Pro. - So I’ve really been considering moving over to a foldable. I think Samsung is the safe bet. Mainly because of how polished the software is. And the fact that Samsung is offering a $1000 for my iPhone 14 Pro Max, is really adding to my temptation.

Hey Flossy! So, thanks to one of your subs getting me hip to her take on the Fold 5, I went out and plunked cash for the 1TB model, along with a slim case (sand), Galaxy Watch 6 (big Boi black), and the Buda 2 pros (which, not sure why... I already got the XM5s in my ears!

Love the review, man I wish the front cover came with a screen protector type panel - I've seen it being sold by other manufacturers but haven't gotten around to trying them.
You don't want that actually. Those screen cover shields get tons of grease and smudges on it. Then it covers up the front camera with thosr smears. It's horrible.
Is there a factory fitted one on the phone
@christopherhawkins5456 not any from Samsung with a front screen. Samsung does sell screen protectors for the front screen. I actually don't like this either. The reasoning is because after a 2 weeks it so of us, you can see the protector wearing off where you swipe the most. I still use this one because it's the best one I've found besides zaggs.
I have the same case but I find the back is thicker than it needs to be, yet the spen isn't sunk in enough to keep it from rocking on the table. That also means that the front case trim has to be equally deep to match the back, which makes it difficult to navigate with swipes from the edges. It could have been a bit better.
Oh shit so I guess i shouldnt get the case if it gets in the way of using the phone. I almost trustred these reviews and went for it bro
@@channelMasterGuiGame I just went back to using the 3 bars at the bottom of the screen to swipe for navigation. That seems to work okay. I take the case off when I'm at home.

Those little stickers on the outside case never last long. Eventually they wear off and your left with a floppy case.

Great Video Floss....Got this case with my pre order and only paid 45 for it... Now I'm glad I did!
I bought the standing case with strap during preorder cause I think the new s pen is too slim for my big hand. Turns out you can swap out the strap and fit in last gen s pen if you really need to use the pen. Personally I think the standing case with strap is far more worthy than the new s pen case in terms of price.
Edit: I meant to say functionality instead of price since they have totally different components regarding how you use your phone.

I have the fold 4 and I got the case with a pen it's fine as it always comes with a kick stand which you just change over
Hate there is no kick stand integration.
Defective case as in my case the s pain is lose in the case and have a tendency to fall down on accidental touches.
Got my fold 5 yesterday which is super early so that was sweet im juet rocking a clear spigen for now to show off the gray color i got. Probably switch to a latercae or pitaka aramid fiber at some point but think ill Cop one of these S pen cases too
