Damn! I didn't know about this one. 10:33 is one of the coolest, heaviest, most straight forward grooves they've done IMO. Wish they would have made this part longer, worked it out more, or just just made it into a complete song.
I think you'd appreciate the lyrics more if you knew this song is about satan. I am is one of the titles or names of god and I is the opposite of that. The whole song is about the devils role in christianity
This might be the craziest piece of music ever composed
Just straight up violent
This is such a great piece of music , always loved it
This band is so skilled it gives me chills

Their best song
Merci Andrew. Je suıs une femme 50ans, folle de Meshuggah. Et Metal et Musıque Classıque. Voıla. 🐰 Zozy
This whole time I thought " the acid smoke of burning souls " ,, said" the ashes of complaisance " thanks for the vid
i've always found meshuggah's lyrics to be so much more metal and horrifying than the gorey edge-lord shit

@@Ryeubaham That's actually very interesting; this song makes quite more sense now with that in mind. Thank you for your input!
@@Ryeubaham Meshuggah's lyrics are so brutal, scary and intellectual at the same time. Like their music. Such an incredible band
@@Ryeubahamwhere’s the proof of this?
I don't do the work I was the work. I am the job
I (no pun intended) always thought jens said I! This fragile wheel of shit! I know it’s weird also it’s at 1:55
Sure does sound like it...lol
LMAO
Well now we have another one like "I like juice"
8:40
16:20 groan tube toy
That's what I'm saying!!! 🤣
@@pendragon5573 Glad to know I'm not the only one lol
It's hard to believe the 1st time I heard Slayer; Reign in blood, I thought it sucked!
I get that feeling, interesting how your tastes change over time if you truly listen to music
@@Ryeubaham same with Ride The Lightning...but I'm older now, and TOOL and Primus are some of my faves.
Overrated album , remembered by the first and last song and the rest(except Post Mortem ) are forgettable , not to mention the goofy vocal perfomance
