Wow....in the early 90s.this waterfall was the spot..used to be much much deeper and really higher...don t look the same..unrecognizable now...but at least you guys had fun.

We fell for the same type of scam when we were in Samoa last time but it was a young woman, she was well dressed and she asked us where our village was and as soon as we told her, she said oh we are related, blah!blah, and my brother fell for it and gave her some money. I wish that they would be honest and just ask for help and not lied like that. Anyways they probably need help and God knows and will judge them accordingly.
💯 why not ask for help I'll donate knowing they need food or for family. But now I'm very skeptical of anyone.

Do yous not go with any family members to kafao? I know when my fams go samoa we always go with our family or at least cousins so they can show us all the good spots and faakafao us! It's gotta be the same guy that tried to pull the same scam on us while we were in Samoa in July last year. Same tactic, he asked my daughters first before he approached me and told me we're family, etc. And when I told him that we were not family - he gave me a sobbing story that his daughter was killed that morning in an accident. Fai mai sa mu si oga afafine ile vaivela ma ma'imau lona ola. And then he disappeared in thin air. This took place at the Fugalei market. Pu'upu'u pukapuka si ali'i.
Your description matches the same one that scammed us. I think his tactics are working 😂 cause he got us 😅😂. Hope he used the money for his family. Take Care family ❤❤.

OMG, this is exactly what happened to me and my husband last month when we went to visit in Samoa. We went for lunch in one of the restaurant in back of the gas station in Motootua across from the hospital and he was there, he came and asked me whos my husband name again and where in upolu he from again, right when i told him my husband's name and ville in upolu he looks so surprised and said OMG I relate to his mom and blah blah blah, afterwards he was in tears and told us that his daughter just passed away that morning ga mu le vaivela smh ohhh noooo. We end up gave him $50 tala samoa, ae oka se vave ga dissappear lol pei se agaga leaga. E taui lava e le Atua le tagata ma lana e fai. Alot of kaufaavalea peepz in samoa sole 😂 but anyways love watching your vlogs.

@pulepulefamilyoutwest6454 I'm sure it's the same person I encountered years ago, saying he coached a team from Salelologa (where my family is from) and followed me to the bank then to the market, I got sick following me around so I gave home $20 to go. Then I saw him again at the wharf (Mulifanua)4 months ago talking to my wife. I knew straight away he was trying to scam her asking questions, and when I approached, he was saying the same thing to me. But I told him to go somewhere else and he moved to the palagis next to us. 😆
