Those vocals are absufuckinglutely awesome. The pedalwork is also impressive, of course, but the technical aspects always take a back seat to that attitude and them vox. Great!

That's alot of practice right there. Alot of footwork for sure.
I use the beat buddy to basically get ideas when writing songs... pretty much it. It wouldn't be practical for live performances unless...you have time to learn all of this, and a venue when you're the sole performer, because its gonna take a while to set all of this up.

Amazing job! I just got the Beat Buddy Mini - got it used on eBay, paired with the latest generation of the footswitch. I love it - and can tell that I will soon move to the full scale model. Your use of the B.B. - and the harmonizer- amazing. I agree though, that the best part of your video is your sheer talent as a singer and guitarist. Thank you for your inspiration.

Also noticed how you never forget to press a second time on the VoiceLive to cancel the harmony mode....(I sometimes forget...and since it's a "switch" button, I find myself singing in harmony not when I wanted...) I whish they added the simple option to edit the button function to make it "momentary" - or better yet, to program one button as "switch" and another as "momentary" so you can choose it would have made it so much easier and intuitive for live performance - I searched a lot for a workaround etc. (in a firmware update they did give you an option to edit some button's functions but only for a limited number of effects....and harmony wasn't among them - very frustrating because it's the main strength of this pedal. I moved to the Boss V8 which gives you the freedom to edit all buttons (also on the external pedal) but the harmonizer is not as good as VoiceLive's. I wish someone at TChelicon make another firmware update for the VoiceLive play instead of making everyone move to VoiceLive3 extreme which has all the freedom you want but many other functions you don't need. It's not fun to see a good pedal sitting like a brick and collecting dust...
I know it’s been a while since you posted your comment, but I just wanted to let you know that I now have a Voicelive 2 and for live use I use an expression pedal for blending in the harmony. This also gives me the opportunity to choose how much harmony I want. This works really well for me at the moment.
Wow..this is fantastic! Fantastic guitar playing, singing and ability to put it all together. Thank-you for doing this and posting. It's an inspiration. I don't know how I missed this as I have been trying to learn Knopfler's riff for the last month using YT as a source. One question. I've looked at the BB and know it has this song in it's program list but not with the intro you have. What software do you use to program BB to make that intro? Again, thanks for taking the time to post this!
Thank you for your kind words 🙏 The rhythm that I used was Blues 1 or 2, and just the fills as they come with the BB. Best of luck on learning the song 🎸
