    What I would like Morgan is how good this Beta handles without a damper. I'm an older dude ex "novice" desert racer. I can't imagine having a bike without one. You seem to get along on various bikes without them (even in the rocks). I imagine it's all in the setup and terrain. Thank you for the detailed build.

    The Beta Race Edition bikes remind me of a girls bike. The colors are so bright and girly. Great bike though, very nice! Your touches are making it more manly for sure.... The stock flags are wimpy and I'm not sure what Beta was thinking.
    As far as feedback on the videos, I like them a lot and watch when I'm doing work in my shop. Definitely would like them at least 45 min long, like the last two on the new Beta. • @highlandcycles
      @highlandcycles  Před 7 měsíci +2

      They are good bikes. I have no use for one since it’s a 450 (too much power in tight stuff) and a moto bike but they seem to be great

    When you say you put dielectric grease on the connectors, what do you mean exactly by that? Do you put the grease inside the connectors or just on the outside so its sealed + easy to unclip????

    • @tonn333
      @tonn333 Před 7 měsíci +1

      Nonconductive grease in the connectors will prevent water ingress and help against corrosion.

    It would be nice for you actually to get out and ride the bike and really get used to riding it cuz I don't think coming straight off of the KTM you can appreciate the bike for really what it is the good over rev those bikes are fast they will handle speed you just have to get used to it

    • @highlandcycles
      @highlandcycles  Před 7 měsíci +3

      I just did. Settle down. And it confirmed my thoughts. It’s better at fast than I thought but not as stable as my KTM. That’s not bad it’s just different. I know you can set them up for speed but I’m not going to. I want it for the nasty stuff and the KTM for fast. Everyone gets so bunched up when I don’t think exactly like they do. That’s what’s wrong with the world right now. It’s ok to disagree. Everyone is different

    • @highlandcycles
      @highlandcycles  Před 7 měsíci

      Not right away. I’m really trying to make this thing a “hard enduro” weapon. More like light to moderate enduro for me. But I want to keep it light so I have less to pick up off the ground and that style riding doesn’t burn much gas.
