The ‘Flex House’ typology is a housing concept that is designed to adapt to the changing lifestyle of “The Missing Middle” Demographic. Faced with increasing land prices in Urban Areas, the Flex House works to ethically increase Density by building equity for young homeowners at an affordable cost. By implementing Adaptable Floor Plans, this Housing Typology provides relief income through rentable Mother-in-Law units, yet can also provide extra rooms for a growing family.
