Ochette, Throne, and Partitio's themes merge SO WELL with Critical Slash II. I thought Yasunori Nishiki couldn't outdo himself after the banger OST Octopath 1 had, and my god I think this one is even better!

Yeah 6 means that it does have quite some difficult parts, the thing is just that I have some other covers that are significantly harder than this one, lowering the difficulty rating for this in relation. Thanks for listening!

I added that song to the Patreon poll of March but not many voted for that song, which is why it won't be the next Octopath cover. There's still a chance I'll cover it someday though^^

I wish I found Octopath while I still had the energy to play turn based games - I just can't sit down and strategize anymore... games are supposed to make me relax, not think too hard.
that being said, I am happy to spend hours listening to and analyzing video game soundtracks, just not play the actual game, same as fire emblem and older final fantasy games.
it was also this songs predecessor that introduced me to Nier automata and other square enix titles (other than final fantasy).
