Priest is a 2011 American action horror film directed by Scott Stewart and stars Paul Bettany as the title character.
It is loosely based on the Korean comic of the same name by Hyung Min-woo. In an alternate universe, humanity and vampires have warred for centuries. After the last Vampire War, a veteran Warrior Priest lives in obscurity until his niece (Lily Collins) is kidnapped by vampires.
The film was released on May 13, 2011. The film earned over $78 million at the box office against a $60 million production budget, but it was panned by critics, who praised the film's visual style and art direction while criticizing the movie's use of genre clichés, writing, acting, editing and action scenes. - Zábava
I Love Priest Pretty Underrated, Great Action, Well Written, Great Cast, Paul Bettany, Maggie Q, Karl Urban, Cam Gigandet, & Christopher Plummer did a Great Job, 1 of my Favorites Of 2011 too
I watched a bit of this movie about a year or so ago, and didn't think it was so bad. I'll probably finish it one day.

Loved this movie, also love the Underworld series, Matrix series, Resident Evil series, etc. But also love the Die Hard, Terminator, Rambo, Alien, Predator, Divergent, Hunger Games, etc. series!
I Like Cam Gigandet I think he’s a pretty good actor IMO my Favorites Of his are Never Back Down, Pandorum, Priest, Trespass 2011, In The Blood 2014, & Magnificent 7 Remake

I actually Really a Liked Legion & Priest there Some Of my favs of Paul Bettany I think Scott Stewart is an Underrated Director
Another fine job on the rant bro I never bothered watching this flick the trailers never did anything for me just more of"Been There, Seen That Before" film I'll just rather revisit the "Underworld" films instead in which I size them as

I always hated the prequel and never wasted my time with the last one especially when I herd they didn't bothered to follow up sequel bait ending of "Awakening" since that one was poorly received by the fans and the box office.
...i read somewhere Paul had a drug or alcohol problem, possibly both
--> legion did the same thing by letting the other characters do more than he did.
in one movie he played an angel saving a baby, and in the other he played a powerful priest (vampire slayer)
i wish they had more fighting scenes like the angels fighting, but other than that, i like them
I've always been of a mind that Paul should have been cast as 'Constatine' & the flick should be made R. If he was a bigger draw or well known...
2011 feels like a lifetime ago.
