  • I thought these found objects from the beach and the woods would make interesting marks on my linen scraps, they worked a treat and it was fun getting very messy 😁
    I hope you enjoy watching

As you said Mother Nature is wonderful. The effects that you've achieved are wonderful. I hope that Hades enjoyed his walks!!

Hades always enjoys a walk 😊 it was fun looking at things in a deferent way, texture etc.

Loved that. Some interesting shapes. From the piece of granite I saw a woman’s face profile from the first and third press. From the little cockle shell a bird in flight. Mother Nature never fails to amaze! 😊❤️

Fascinating watching you create theee. When you went across at the opposite direction with the stick I started to see a scene if trees reflecting in a pool. Your idea here is a great one for the Roxy field notes backgrounds. Cheers, Christine

Thanks Christine, I'm not joining in with the next project, don't think its my thing, but yes the prints would be perfect for it

I love this kind of experimenting. The pink material with red pinecone flowers turned out really well, and also the broken scallop shell. White ink on a black background would be effective too. I'm now looking at all my natural 'treasures' - dried poppy seed heads, pinecones, a dried sunflower head - and thinking of spending the morning messing about printing with them. You see what you've started!

That looks like so much fun and they turned out great. The stick rolled piece looked like it was from the Moda Grunge line. Love them all.

I think it may be from some beach reinforcement work done up the coast in Dawlish more like, it was lovely to hold and really heavy strangely !
