    This makes me feel good because if 1 ups can survive in the wild then they are not bad at all.

    Appreciate these long term in the wild tests. Great idea, hope you continue this with other cabs in the future!

    Good work on this. All machines as price rises should have a public test

    So, yes, it broke (lol). Neither gun was working (initially), player 2 had a broken lock, and the kick panel was pretty beat. We all knew the guns were junk, so that's not a huge surprise, and the kick plate has no protection, so that's also not a shock. These clearly aren't built to a standard that's commensurate with the price being asked.

      They are not designed for commercial use, and they are made with cheap parts that can break. If you as the owner take care of it and don’t allow kids to abuse it, it will last.

      New commercial op units are 5+ grand, and they’re a maintenance nightmare and constantly broken… particularly anything with attachments. The fact that thing is still upright after running 2 months for free in a bar is proof god exists. I wouldn’t have given it 2 weeks.

      My understanding is other than the piece on the second gun that locks the recoil, they were not working because they were not calibrated. They were unplugged so they had to be calibrated again. So they did not work initially, but not broke as if they did not work ever again.

      @robkrasinski6217 it's a bit weird to expect kids not to use this product when everything about it is intended for children.
      It's 3/4 size, brightly colored, and an arcade cabinet; you know the thing intended for children to go to?
      This is not a collector piece in a glass case for show only. It's meant to be played with friends and family and every Arcade1up can barely endure that.
      Seriously, why are y'all simping for this junky money-grubbing company? When have they ever made a product any of you are proud to own?

    • @therealsmilebit
      @therealsmilebit Před 10 měsíci

      @@rileymcphee9429 Had some of my Arcade1Up's for years and still going strong without any issue. Had kids play on them and they hold up just fine
      Every company that makes a product wants your money. Not sure why A1UP cannot try as well. If you think the product is over priced, don't buy it and move on. The product is not everyone's cup of tea and that is ok.

    Looks like only the lock back for taking out the recoil failed. Still not good.

    Why on Earth did you put this cab out in the public?!?! These cabs are not even close to the durability of real arcade cabs! They are made of mdf wood composite and plastic not plywood and metal! They can’t withstand the abuse!
