He’s such a handsome boy!
he is, he knows it too!!
He's so lucky to have your high standard of care 😍🥰
thank you
I do for my
Wow! Great job! You are so thorough and cut no corners for your clients. I bet Boomer feels so much better after his groom! 😀 I love how he loves to be towel dried 😂😂😂
Thanks so much! 😊
Adorable. I have an English Bulldog. I’m obsessed with them! The personality they have are second to none!
I appreciate what you do.
Totally agree with you, I'm on my second one now and they are so different from any other breed I've had
I can't believe the owners don't clean his booty, we cleaned our bulldogs booty about every 2 days, this is a must
That was my thought when I saw what came out. My bully has a deep tail pocket and we have to not only clean it. But put powder in it to keep it dry. And his ears could use more attention as well.
Thank you for the info. I am about to get one myself and trying to educate myself as much as possible
i hope u dont mean u bathed him every 2 days
Excellent video on caring for an English bulldog. However, I wipe our dog’s tail pocket with a medicated wipe after every poop. And wipe under the rope, (at the nose) once or twice a week. Some people wipe under the rope every day.
Just came across because I adore bulldogs (any variation of English) and was struck by your narration. It was more polished than a lot of presentations I've seen.
the black hole that is his tail pocket 😭😭😭
😂😂😂
You are such a loving care giver 🙏
Best video yet! I loved that you showed us your Van! 😀
thank you!! Grooming van tour video coming soon! stay tuned!
I love the story telling voice 🥰 music to my ears 👂 just got a puppy and was looking on how to bathe him. Thank you for your tips. I’ll try my best
This was a really informative video while being adorable at the same time! I've been looking into dog breeds before I get a puppy and I had no idea Bulldogs needed so much grooming. Most websites I've read only talk about the importance of keeping the wrinkles clean and dry. It's also useful in highlighting their allergies, given that I have guinea pigs and therefore hay everywhere. I don't want any dog to be uncomfortable in my house.
I would recommend staying away from brachycephalic (short snouted) dogs, considering how severe their health issues are, even when responsibly bred.
Boomer is definitely a cutie 🥰 🐾❤️
I think so too!
Ty for explaining tail pocket. Do other dogs have them or just bulldogs?
other breeds have them such as French bulldogs, boston terriers and pugs.
This dog is so cute!!
Oh wow. That was educational 😅
😂 Lol you learn something new everyday 😂
What a good boy! Boomer, you're a handsome fella.
yes he is!
We've had 3 (English) Bulldogs. As you know they are very high maintenance and ours needed frequent Vet visits. Nelson had such a tight tail pocket you couldn't stick your finger in it. Ultimately surgery was needed. His tail was removed and the pocket sewn shut. Think of it like pulling a pants pocket inside out then sewing it shut. 💗💗
Vet mentioned that procedure for my 9 month old female bulldog but we are unsure. She has that problem with her tail that kinda goes inside and antibiotics had to be taken to help. How does the bulldog look without the tail and does it leave a noticeable scar?
I love watching these videos. It is very obvious how much you enjoy your work. Thank you for all the little tidbits of information you give us, too. Great job!
Such a cute dog 🐶 Great video ❤️
Thank you 🤗
Wonderful!!!!!
How do you choose between the oatmeal shampoo and the CBD one? Which one does best for upset, sensitive skin?
I Great video!! Thank you for educating on the tail pocket!! Also those face wrinkles are very hard to treat if the yeast starts so like you said here best to prevent!! Some bully owners need more education on proper hygiene and that it’s not optional!!
If I had a dog with that it would be getting cleaned out every night. Same with the facial wrinkles no way am I letting stinky butts and bacterial faces hang out in my house!
Do you know what the tail pocket is for? Like what is it used for/why does it exist? I loved this video btw. So much good information and such a calm, cute dog ❤️
It's because we breed them to have basically no tail and wrinkles
It's just a drawback
@@imparanoiiid oh wow. I had no idea but that makes a lot of sense. Thank you!
The tail pocket is something common among English Bulldogs. Most are cared for with regular cleaning. Use your first finger up and under the tail, above the anus with a medicated wipe, or medicated disk.
It’s where they keep their change.
@@jocelynnjohnston4782 it's not just a lack of tail it's a malformed vertebra in their tail in addition to wrinkles. Imagine a screw covered in wrinkles and that's basically a tail pocket
Wow he must have felt great after that spa. 🎉😂
Boomer looks great but my bulldog had same red wrinkle issue that would sometimes bleed, for 5 years. Dog allergist suggested I use Bixby Skin & Coat powder and they are gone! I wish I knew about this with my last bulldog. Its amazing! worth try! It's organic and just add to food. I cannot believe the difference
He has such a sweet face 💚
yes he does!!
After the mini wrinkles get cleaned dry then add Destin. I just started and oh my what a miracle. That color wouldn't be there and it will take it away too..
My bulldog is going for his 1st professional groom tomorrow. Hopefully he'll behave as well as boomer. Lol
May I ask what the ear wipes you use are? I have a hunting dog with long ears, always getting infections.
Yikes I can see those tear stains from a mile away glad you are there to soothe his skin
I just heard that it’s all about the food you give them. Fresh will fix those stains right up
@@samanthab1923 your heard incorrectly then. Stains are largely allergy related and can't be fixed no matter how much fresh food you feed unless you are fixing the underlying problem.
@@GotAnUmbrella It’s a girl I watch with a Frenchie. Showed before & after. But now that I think of it, she’s probably a sponsor. 🤪 thanks
@@samanthab1923 I've got a friend with a super well-known Frenchie who is a medical mess. Food is a large part of tears stains, but it often won't fully go away. Folds still need regular cleaning to keep them from getting yeasty and disgusting. Brachy breeds have notoriously awful skin but the best example of how difficult it is to make tear stains go away forever if white-haired dogs with long hair with permanent stains despite treatment and regular grooming.
@@GotAnUmbrella They look so bad too. Thanks again 👋
They are cute with the kids
That was an awesome video ........
What ear wipes do you recommend?
How does one keep the face wrinkles free from stain?
💗
È troppo bravo questo patatone. Amore ❤❤
What kind of wipes do you use?
My girl has an infection. Have had her for a little over a month. Can’t get her seen til next week by her vet. So we used medicated soap and antibiotic cream to
Clean her pocket. It was BAD. The only way we knew about it was when she yelped this morning when I wiped her bottom after she pooped out side.
Good job Boomer! 💕
😁
Have you ever groomed a Rhodesian ridgeback before? If so any tips or ticks
Been watching a few of your videos and was wondering where dose the water go
I have a 50gal tank build in to many grooming van that holds the dirty water.
I really enjoy your grooming video's. Boomer looked so happy for you. 🥰🐶Where do you get medicated wipes from? 💜💚💙
I buy them from Amazon or Groomers Choice. Links are in my description. 😊
The Local Veteran clinic.
Veterinarians recommend malacetic wipes for regular maintenance. Amazon or Walmart or tractor supply etc sells them
Ah! Ok! Youre mobile. Cool!
I've watched many of your shorts. This was interesting.
I see many people with these dogs where iWork and they don't maintain their dogs at all, the poor things look so uncomfortable
Yes that's very worrisome it's ignorance and neglect IMO so please anyone reading this please please please educate yourself properly via your veterinarian and use the products they suggest
Handsome.
😍
😁
This was very informative. I don't have a English bulldog, however it's always been a bucket item for me. So it was interesting to see.
A sick dog with impacted feces under its tail is a bucket "item" for you?
@@Maspetsno. He didn’t say that. He’s just trying to learn BEFORE he gets one. Most people don’t research for their forever pet
@@carolferguson He literally did say that. "it's always been a bucket item for me."
@@Maspets to get a bulldog… my husband always wanted one. And she did a lot more than anal glands. Everyone was saying how cute he was
@@carolferguson No matter how much "research" one does, buying or breeding bulldogs is hideously unethical.
Good job, Breanna!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bet Boomer's happy.
where are you located cuz I can't dig in no tail pocket like I thought I could
What is the name of the shampoo please ?
My biggest concern is drying the tail packet after cleaning. Moisture in there can cause yeast problems. Any suggestions? FYI, my dog does not tolerate hair dryers.
Maybe using a towel and drying it the way she cleaned it.
He doesn't mind you scooping out his tail pocket? Why do they form tail pockets? Is it a breed defect?
It's a trait that shows up in genetically tailless dogs. The skin grows in between the tail bone stub and the pelvic bone. It's not a trait that would not last very long in nature, since a chronic infection would likely interfere with breeding
My vet said NO soap or water in tail pocket. I'm to use oil based ointment to clean
That bully is going home and will roll around in the grass for as long as it takes to get some of that new smell off. 😂
My EBs tail pocket is swollen
My pups love being towel dried so much they knock each other out the way to get more time getting a towel dry
Absolutely 😊 my big bullies always love a rub down
Give a tour of you van mam😄
Their tail pocket and folds have ti be cleaned daily. People need to remember that when they get a bulldog. I have a few. The tail pocket is exactly under the tail you are correct. His ears are really red too poor baby.
How do I know if my bulldog has a tail pocket ?
I hope you have your answer by now but, if their tail is not sticking out, it's slapped right on the rear, and, when they wag their tail, from the side you can see it lift up almost like a flap that goes from vertical to horizontal.... I hope you figured it out and know how to take care of your pup 😊
When she sprayed the doggie perfume boomer was like : * sniff * mmmmm….. good * lick *
I have a bulldog and I looking for a groomer like you because I am paraplegic and could use some one that comes to my home 😊😊😊😊😊 Thanks
Depends where you are but nowadays mobile pet grooming is a service I have seen here in Tampa. Just Google it and best to ya!
why do they remind me of turtles? especially the way they walk...
I've had dogs for what seems forever and I've never heard about that "tail pocket" thing. Poor you!
I was just told by a vet that my bulldog should only be. Cleaned 2x a year is this true?
Wtf? NO! get a better vet please
Looks like owner does not clean Boomer's skin folds as often as be needs it done. Tail pocket is also a routine task that needs to be done more often than once a month.
Petco had a cage with a blower in the floor and my bulldog Maggie loved to set on that and get her backside dried.
Yes, this dog looks like he definitely needs more than once a month grooming. Kind of sad.
He's a beautiful specimen of a bulldog but he is not being taken care of at all. His tail pocket, tear folds and most likely nose fold are terrible. His tear folds and tail pocket in particular which can be seen are in terrible shape. Either his owners are lazy or simply don't know what they need to do. Poor guy.
But most other sites say DONT use oat based products because of yeast infection
If you clean him every 4 weeks...he gets REALLY dirty in those between weeks. WOW!
what a good boy, i will take my puppy Mecha to grooming when she hits 4 months age, so she gets used to grooming from early age like Boomer
Prendre une photo ‼️‼️😂😂👍👍🐽💋
Owner needs to clean those ears more often. I have pugs with allergies and we do baths, ears, and folds multiple times a week. We have to to make sure they do t get ear infections. Those ears are a mess. Cute dog.
ooo
Tail pocket is apparently not the kind of pocket in billiards or bowling. 😉
great work but it's clear the owner does not do daily maintenance. It should never be that built up if it's being done daily like my boys and those tear stains are also a sign of this??
I feel so sorry for this breed of dog. They suffer with breathing difficulties and yeast infections and can't procreate naturally, That said at least Breanna is taking care of his needs so well.
This dog needs daily maintenance... not dropped off once a month to get taken care of properly.
Boomer you are handsome!!
100% agree
I hope she used different gloves for the tail pocket and the ears.
Do you EVER groom cats?
I’ve never met a bulldog that didn’t have skin problems
His owners need to switch to raw food no eliminate the yeast ! Poor guy
That is gross. He's a beast though. Glad my rottie doesn't have a secret pocket eww
That's the owners fault for not cleaning him . My bulldog never has nasty stuff like that in his tail pocket or.that much gunk in his ears
He’s cute but that is super gross! I will not be getting a bulldog! 😂
Boomer good boy!!
Me, messy booty!?... Me Lady, not me.🤔...Stinkee booty too? woof woof....
Scrub in the tub🤪
Oh wow. That much stuff out of his ears and tail in 4 weeks???
You wouldn't believe what comes out after one week
His tear stain in the deep wrinkle of his face made me sad 🫣
You’re a Boomer Groomer lol!
With a dog like that, you have to wipe their butt with baby wipes every time they go number two
Note, please No baby wipes, for any folds or screw tail.
Wipes with a drying agent like malacetic wipes, or a final rinse of such agent on a paper towel, are proper.
no baby wipes - they're not even good for human skin they screw up the natural biome
Great job.
However, english bulldogs can't possibly be cleaned every 4 weeks. The owners HAVE to do daily hygine routine. I've never seen such dirty ears and bad tear stains. V irresponsible. Of course, not on your part
Exactly. What is wrong with people. Negligence due to ignorance or laziness or expense or whatever is not acceptable.
I hope the groomer EDUCATES clients on proper care even if it could cost them financially for potential loss of work... But it would be better, for the DOG.
Wow, that was a dirty dog
Ok, Boomer
yukh🤮
Les plis de l’écoulement de ses yeux doivent la gêner !!
Ok. These bulldog breeders have got to work on these terrible traits. Poor dog
