Back when they were *originally on tour, Firehouse opened for them (I really didn't have a problem with that) BUT....there was this one guy that definitely did. He was in the inner 1/3rd portion from the stage. Sold out show. Standing room only. Their ENTIRE SET, directly in front of the singer he saluted him the bird *until he finally got the same love back on their last song ,) It was hilarious.
I agree 💯 there's only a few bands I like these days like Filth And Ghost and Spiritbox and Rivers of Nile the rest of the stuff just is just audio tune 💯 there's never gonna be true rockers in this world anymore

There were no stories and nothing in them that most viewers would want to see twice. And *that's* why MTV stopped playing music. Their ratings were tanking because of videos like this, and there was nothing they could do because these were the only videos the bands could afford to make.
Tesla was one of those bands that happened to come along in the 80s that was NOT a hair band. It was just their time. They would have been fine in any decade. Just a great rock band.
I absolutely love jeff keith & the other band members having so much fun with it on stage! It makes me feel happy to hear this song & watch them. Jeff used to always dance around like that. Idk about now that he's older,havent seen them live in a long time,but i read that 4 of the 5 original band members are still playing together.. that's dedication 🤘🏼🎸

I have seen these guys 8 Times. First time, I was in Sand Diego, CA. I saw them in Tijuana, Mexico with ZZ Top, Motley Crue, Poison, Def Leppard, and a couple other bands, this was 1987, and saw them 7 other times in the United States.

Im 24 years old me and a couple buddys was planning on taking a trip like 4 hours north to see these guys and kenny wayne shepherd in Michigan and do some fishing while we was up there the show was a couple weeks ago but we never pulled the trigger on it wish we would have but my job needed me and one of my buddy's had things come up if it wasn't for my buddy backing out I woulda told my job piss off see ya Monday
I live in Michigan and am seeing them with friends this Friday night, March 15th at the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort in Mt Pleasant, Michigan. Near Central Michigan University Campus. I've seen Tesla live in concert 3 times since the 80's... Great shows. One of my favorite bands in high school and beyond...🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
So, they literally, at a HUGE Concert, they plucked me from the audience and we went on tour, briefly ( like, 3 States). I did not sleep w/ anyone, they just found me amusing. I was like a Circus ( but pretty😂❤) pet... They still hit me up😊
If you are from Sacramento especially...this was a BIG deal. They got equal play when every other band was straight off the Sunset strip in LA practically. A major record label picking up a Sacramento band....that just means they were THAT good. Totally underrated. love, love, love.
I sure am! I went to Atlanta GA saw Tesla and la guns and kix. I named my cat that rescued "Little Susie"! And I promise you she is 13 and Lil Susie still tears me up. Sorry know it's about a human. But I wonder the same thing about time a lot since I turned 60 last year, and since the world has turned upside down with the virus, the violence. I lost my Mom in March and then my dog a few weeks back (but not my belt buckle-no country in my house!). All I have to do is put on the rock 'n roll and turn it up and then I'm just fine for a bit. Without music, life would be a mistake. Rock on!

Tesla is a great band, I listen to them all the time! My Daughter and Son when they were younger the three of us had the boom box in our kitchen and they would JAM They new most of the words!! I grew up in Sacramento and these guys were everywhere in the late 80’s, it was cool to watch them make it. They were like the house band on 93 Rock (now 98 Rock) and most radio stations in sac. I saw them several times before they “made it”.
I found out earlier today this was a cover. I wish I knew the backstory of how that came to be. Nothing about the original screams out that it needs to be covered.

The 80s bands had the most amount of fun imo. It was more about the music rather than business back then.

I'm listening to Telsa in November 2023, and yes they are Very Under-rated, they have such awesome sound n music and Jeff's voice rocks then n still today!!! Hope to see them one more time!!! I've never tired of them and don't plan on it!

Tesla is a great band, I listen to them all the time! My Daughter and Son when they were younger the three of us had the boom box in our kitchen and they would JAM They new most of the words!! In the car they would recognize the song 🎵 as soon as they heard the first note!! Those were the good old days!! I love you JENNIFER AND NICHOLAS!!

I grew up in Sacramento and these guys were everywhere in the late 80’s, it was cool to watch them make it. They were like the house band on 93 Rock (now 98 Rock) and most radio stations in sac. I saw them several times before they “made it”.
Brandon grew up in folsom and loved these guys. I'm 43 and still rockn.

I found out earlier today this was a cover. I wish I knew the backstory of how that came to be. Nothing about the original screams out that it needs to be covered.
