BackCountry Raconteur Thanks man! Thats kind of you to say. I watched your video on frying an egg in a snow peak. You handled that quite well 😃 Better result than I ever got with that little monster!

Preppen en survival met Marcel in Nederland Thanks man, vond het ook leuk om je met Rick op de Veluwe te zien!
Oh my goodness. I need to stop being so lazy with my camping meals. That looked amazing.
Nice job as usual. Fall is in the air here in NW Wisconsin which means cooler temps and less bugs. I have made one of those stoves but have not used it yet. Also have a cast iron pan that side. I think I need to get out in the woods and makes something! As always, I can't wait to see what you cook up next..
Cheezehead Chris Thanks a bunch, Chris! I'm also looking forward to colder temps, no ticks! 😄 What do you use your skillet for?
Its a Polish breadbag mate !! I tasted your bread and egg haha it was delicious mate! Bedankt voor de aardige woorden trouwens :)
Martin Outdoors I bought it for one of our hobo trips (i think) and its one of my fav bags now! The kind words are well deserved, you can learn a lot from your channel. Snel weer op pad jonguh!
There is Rice Flour. Go to Trader Joe's & see what kinds of flour they have. If you ask there they can answer your questions. That would be the
Best place to go.
Found your channel a little while ago, wish you were still active! I'd love to ask you for some suggestions. I'm a Thru-Hiker, did the Appalachian Trail last year, and doing the Pacific Crest Trail this year. My pack weight is 10 lbs with everything for my hike. I'd love to see if you had suggestions on how and or what you could bake using a 700 ml Titanium pot and a small Pocket Rocket stove, and or alcohol stove. Anyhow, if you read this and have any suggestions I'd love to hear them. Thanks, and love the channel. - Too Clean
I enjoy your videos! I hope you're well and return with more videos.
Love the channel. I would like a video discussing the equipment you use. What’s a Billy Can?
I started watching your videos as I have a small sailing boat and use a spirit burner as a stove. I thought that your excellent recipes would be good to make when sailing. And they are, but... they are all high calorie dishes suitable for someone walking around the countryside. They are nice on the boat but, oh dear, I'm getting fat!
Hi John - great stuff. Tried a number of your recipies already. Any chance of a new video in the making?
i hope you wil make more videos i like it
I am planning to bike pack, so a dutch oven is kinda heavy. Do you have other pans to use? would an aluminum dutch oven work? thanks for your channel! this is awesome! I love cooking when I camp.
could you use rice flour instead of wheat flour.
in New England we call cornmeal bannock johnnycakes: add a little cheddar and apple, then fried up in the same pan you just made bacon in, breakfast of champions
Goede handschoenen idd, heb ze ook dankzij Martin :-)
Wanneer komt het bacon recept..?
I can watch bushcraft cooking all day and then being a gear junkie tops it all off.
ANY *KETO* FRIENDLY
BREAD/BANNOCK ?
where did you get that pan?
Woodsman Tonahuac Heya, if I remember correctly I bought it from a chef's store. Its nice and deep for such a small pan!
you might look at rice flour
Love your videos, watched them all. You've inspired me to get back into hiking, except now with much more homemade cooking than when I was younger. FWIW over the past few months I've been working on a gluten free sweet potato, banana, Chana Dal pancake recipe, but it's not very hiking friendly because it uses a blender. And it still uses a little commercial mix. Someday I'll try replacing the blended Chana Dal with Besan/chickpea flour, and using baking powder instead of vinegar/baking soda, and see if I can make it with your ziplock bag method.
I look forward to your next videos!
PS here's what I have so far on the gluten free recipe. docs.google.com/document/d/1OsO1i29lLd1qciXK62eYOM34cVXkkaGCIwE8Qrx8Kd0/edit?usp=drivesdk.
Maybe you shouldve named this channel baked bushcraft....instead of bushcraft baking....lol ;)
dank zei u en een aantal anderen heb ik mijn zoontje het huis uit gekregen

Another great recipe. I find watching your videos inspires me to try new things. I often come up with variations on recipes and cooking methods tailored for my own use. Thank you for sharing
Mark Young Heya Mark, great to hear my videos inspire to try new things. Couldn't ask for more. Hope you are doing well. Cheerio
