I've noticed that they don't give us basic facts about what happened and fail to update and correct false news reports like the ones about the hospital a couple of weeks ago. No one knows what is going on.
@@FleurPillager yea, the information that’s been provided previously which some have questioned has never been clarified or a statement made regarding numbers of deaths etc, their seems to be a lot of facts about the damage to Israel yet with Gaza information it’s a lot of alleged information and they say they are separating hamas from Gaza within conversation but seem to brazenly ignore the horrors of what’s actually happening on the ground to innocents, the point sunny brings about Israel committing war crimes never gets delved into more either, I’m glad she’s highlighting that fact but it’s often quickly discussed over or rebutted with how horrific hamas attacked 😞

When the hospital was allegedly bombed by Israel there were 500 casualties. When it was proven to have been bombed by Islamic Jihad it was 26.
Hamas reports those numbers so take it with a grain of salt.
Regardless, it’s very unfortunate that innocent civilians have to die on both sides.. but the fact remains that Hamas started this after planning this attack for two years and made no attempt whatsoever to keep the civilians in Gaza safe. They didn’t store fuel, food, water and didn’t build bomb shelters. Before you blame Israel, blame Hamas

But they did actually say multiple times (in this episode and others) that the Palestinians are also victims of this and Hamas is to blame (not Palestinians).

They released a list and independent journalists have spoken to family members here who have verified their dead loved ones are on that list. The state department is even citing those numbers. So I guess it’s good enough to keep records but not good enough to say on TV in corporate media.

I think students believe that Palestine should exist and that there can be a world where both Israel & Palestine exist. The treatment of Palestinians since 1948 has resulted in the slow destruction of Palestine. Students are saying Palestine has a right to exist.

Bottom line is the ordinary Palestinians that live in Gaza did nothing to any Israeli , most of them still hold the legal deeds to property they lost post 1948, handed down from father to son .I don't know what the solution is , the last Israeli prime Minister to try for a Two State solution, Yitzhak Rabin( a good man), was murdered by Israeli settlers.
The Palestinians deserve a state of their own , if they got that I think the whole world would breath a sigh of relief , a safe Israel and a solution for the children of Gaza and the future children of Israel.
As far as the Palestinians are concerned, they have lost a lot, they endured the first invasion in 1948 where they villages were bulldozed into the ground by the advancing Zionist Army so the Palestinians could not return, millions of Palestinians were displaced and still live in refugee camps. Believe me, Its all outlined very well in a book by Ilan Pape a Jewish Historian and other books by other brilliant Jewish historians writers such as Naomh Chomsky, Professor Norman Finkelstein, and eyewitness accounts from Jewish writers such as Miko Peled.

I have seen in a documentary years ago showed that it was Bibi's hateful speeches against Rabin, a good man, that incited a person to kill Rabin. I believe that's true. BiBi never wanted the 2 state solution and Rabin with Arafat, another good man, was so close to making the 2 state solution a reality.

This may be one of the most disgusting things I have ever seen on this show. He said Israel is not like Palestine because Israel is a WESTERN HUMAN VALUE DECENT CIVILIZATION. Israel has lied many times about killing Palestinians. In 2014 Israeli soldiers killed two teen Palestinian boys, lied about it and then admitted it AFTER CNN showed them doing it on film. Also when Israel was bombing and killing Palestinians in 2014, Israeli people gathered on hill over looking the city, cheering and clapping for the death and destruction. This conflict is old and bloody. Significantly more bloody for the Palestinian people. The View needs to have someone come on and talk about the other end of this.

I mean saying it's in Israel's best interests not to indiscriminately kill civilians is naive. Like the US did not go into Iraq and Afghanistan to kill civilians, but we did. The US did not go into Iraq to create ISIS, but we did by trying to destroy Al Qaeda. We didn't go into Afghanistan to waste 20 years and hand power back to the Taliban but we did.
If we can't do it, how is Israel supposed to do it so well? And the US is going to stand by Israel, not because we know they won't indiscriminately kill civilians, but because we are blindly hoping the rest of the world won't see this war as horrible but the truth is every day that goes by the world is horrified by what the US is allowing, every day our argument of a rules based world when we talk about Ukraine, that argument grows a little weaker. To say that Israel, and the US have good intentions so everything will go well because its in their best interests for it to go well is completely naive. And we often talk about Israel as if the world can't see that 9,000 Palestinians haven't died already, like "Israel is going to be responsible." This ain't Oct 8th, before the war! The world thinks Israel is not responsible right now!

Disappointed in his response to Sunny question when she brought up the innocent lives being lost in the war, and his response is 2:08 "meh, unfortunately there's collateral damage in war, that's the only thing I have to say to that"....which basically sums up the whole issue in this. How can you come on advocating for one group and calling people out on their apathy toward them and then show complete apathy and disregard for another group, brushing off their lives as just the cost of war?? that kind of messed up the whole segment.

There are protests against BiBi and Israeli government all over the world, even in NYC where The View is filmed and The View says nothing about this. There are many Jewish people, Holocaust survivors and Orthodox Jews protesting against Israelis' slaughtering of the Palestinians and The View says Nothing and never brings on someone who can talk about the many protests or the Palestinians' side.
Sadly, The View where different views are supposed to be expressed is only allowing one view to be heard. They are on the wrong side of history on the subject. So sad.
