P.S. I did play the game on the Wii U, so if it looks off that is why. For some reason, my Wii doesn't like playing discs any longer!

We were gifted a Wii and cannot afford something newer, so we appreciate what we get to keep up with the other kids.
Try getting a pre owned wii u, they're about £90 and have lots of great games on them.
The best place to look is Cex as you'll also get a 2 year warranty

Wii's still got an install base, may as well put games on it.
It's worth noting that this is the first Wii Skylanders game to be a complementary version though. If I recall correctly, up until Trap Team it was getting mainline entries, with the Wii version of Trap Team notably coming with a free Wii U download code. Now with SuperChargers, it's getting a complementary game like 3DS has been since Spyro's Adventure.
They were going to make the real Superchargers for Wii, but the real game was too powerful for the Wii to play without the Wii getting damaged, so they had to make it completely different.

Personally, I 'd only get this for the Bowser Amiibo/Skylander. It's ridiculous that they're still releasing Wii games in 2015.

I have both Wii and Wii U games. This Racing-only spin-off is actually pretty fun. I enjoyed it, just not as much as the "real" game

I accidentally got and played this one and as I was playing I realised that I got skylanders superchargers racing instead of the one that is actual missions now im kind of sad but its still kind of fun

@@kristoffer111 i know im a bit late but same here, I had always had my skylanders games on the wii and my dad, not knowing there were 2 variants and only the bad one for wii got me this. It's so sad, he even got me the dark variant

My little brother got this today, he is really disappointed because there are no world's, we are going back tomorrow to get the xbox360 version.
If they made a freaking Wii version, might as well make a GameCube, N64, SNES and NES versions. All of them are consoles that no longer have new games made by Nintendo themselves.
NES, SNES and N64 are too outdated to handle this.

Cooldude Xtreme You really don't know what a hypothetical scenario is? I just said that to imply that it makes absolutely no sense that they a Wii version for this. I mean, it's not even the same game as the ACTUAL console releases. Just Dance does this as well, but the Wii is perfect for that kind of game and at least for now the versions aren't inferior. They should stop this already. Not to mention this """port""" sold like shit, so they should recognize their mistake and stop releasing these games for platforms no one gives a fuck about anymore. PERIOD.
Well this is disappointing. The 3ds version is exactly the same! And that game is portable (you only sign a character in once and you never need it again). Still worth getting for bowser though, he is really fun in the actual game. The game is also helpful for grinding too.

Yes, the Wii U had been out for 3 years at that point, but Activision wanted to squeeze out every $ they could in their dying franchise. And bear in mind, the mainline titles saw release even on the 360 because of the mass player base. Their fans were kids, not people who could afford new consoles

Space Walker Yes. That's the main style of gameplay in Skylanders. Open/free-roaming platforming with a little side-scrolling here and there.
Brian Rivers giants and ssa didnt hsve jumping (unless you count bounce pads)
Space Walker The 3DS versions did, plus you don't have to have a jump button to be a platforming game.

This looks identical to the 3ds version.

so basicly this is a port of the 3ds game to the Wii because the WiiU version and this is the LAST skylander game coming to the Wii. You won't find Imaginators going to Wii, they would have to cut out tons of features and scale down it's graphics and that's work Activision doesn't want to do...same reason the full console version didn't go to Wii and it got this shirty 3DS port.

My god! And i thought the 3DS version was bad,but that version made sense because the 3DS doesnt have the "best"graphics in the world,unlike Xbox or PS,but this is poor! All they did was take that version,mod it to hit the wii standards,and pumped it out on the other console.

It's only recently lost wifi support. I have a friend who got a wii last year instead of Wii U. Due to its affordable.

Anyway, what I meant to say is that I don't think anyone would ever bother buying this even if their only console was the Wii, because it's basically a racing game with Skylanders slapped on it. Mario Kart Wii is way more worth it if you want a racing game for the Wii. I think that the guy who made this video only got the game because he either got a copy from Activision, or he is a real fan of Skylanders, OR he has a lot of money.
