Repairing the Handle of a 1960's Schrade Walden H-15 Fixed Blade Knife. Classic Hunting Knife!

I enjoyed this repair very much. I used wood to re-create the spacer on the handle. The sheath and leather handle was very thirsty for the Remington Gun Oil I used to restore it. The knife overall for its age is in very good shape. Lots of surface rust, but it was removed very easily with the fabric 3" wheel on my bench grinder. It cleaned up nice and is now part of my collection!

I used to cut my own leather disks until I found an online knife supply sells them by the bag. All different sizes too.
