He's a leading contender but British heavyweight boxer Dillian Whyte says he's not getting a fair shot at a world title. Some commentators see it as a stitch-up.
BBC Newsbeat has spent the last eight months following the 30-year-old, following every twist and turn as he fights for his chance to compete for a title. It's looking like there's a chance of having another crack at old rival Anthony Joshua, who has 3 of the world belts. Then there's being made mandatory challenger against Deontay Wilder. Will any of these pan out?
We start with day 1 of the camp to prepare for Whyte's fight with Derek Chisora, Newsbeat's sports journalist Eleanor Roper investigates what it takes to be a top class boxer and the business of bagging a title shot.
Dillian Whyte: Fighting to be Champ is a Newsbeat documentary made by the people who do the news on BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra.

Boyd It ain't the WBC's fault Whyte turned down a title shot with the Amazing AJ. Last year Whyte failed to comply with the WBC. They did not bounce him out of the top 10 rankings in fact he is still at the top spot. So much for the corrupt WBC. The Whyte Parker fight was corrupt as all fuck! He fouled up the joint so bad it stunk and then in the last round Lewis peeled him off the mat.

@@attilathehun0 Shows how much you know about boxing, the WBC title is held with Wilder, not Joshua. He's ranked #1 and holds the Silver WBC World Title, but now they're calling Wilder's Mandatory with Brazeale, who's ranked #2 with the WBC.
The WBC situation has nothing to do with Joshua.

The title of this video Is Dillian Whyte being held back unfairly for a title shot. Fact the whole point of the Parker route was AJ in April he turned that down!
Dillian Whyte last year refused to do what the WBC told him to do. Who's fault is that? Dumb Dumb Whyte's fault!

I like your funny comment. Putting AJ on the same page as Wilder already tells me you have no knowledge of boxing. On top of that, you put Ortiz ahead of Whyte. Whyte is the WBC, WBO ranked number 1 contender and he is also number 4 in the WBA. Whyte's fitness levels since he fought Joshua has improved enormously. We all know that Wilder is ducking Joshua because he already made that clear in a statement he made recently. Whyte would slap both Wilder and Ortiz. Whyte has been in the mandatory position for 2 years to fight Wilder. I find it strange that he was willing to fight Tyson Fury because he thought he is a big name in boxing and an easy target because his lack of fights and fitness. On top of that he would prefer to fight Breazeale instead of Whyte. Who is currently 4th with the WBC. Lets face facts... Wilder and Ortiz are both wet wipes. Wet wipes that smell of lavender to sanitizes the smell of shit when you wipe the skidders off each arse cheek.

Do you remember when 90% of fights went 12 rounds with no knockdown and all defence and the other 10% were 1st round knockouts I'm glad there's people with a chin and a heart like dillian around to pick boxing back off the floor and make it something worth watching again. When he's shared the ring with Parker who himself has great boxing skills and been in the ring with Joshua who has more power than ortiz.. Then he clearly rejected the Joshua fight as he felt that he didn't have enough time to prepare for the biggest fight of his life, then Joshua wasn't currently being drug tested etc when whyte was, then after all of that he feels like he is worth more than other fighters who Joshua has been with such as povetkin as he clearly brings more to the table as he sells more tickets and is up there as probably the 4th best heavyweight in the division behind the top 4,and why should he take the fight for example on a 70/30 split and then if he wins has to take the rematch and still only get 30 percent when he would have more to offer as he would have the belts.
