    Congratulations on buying your beautiful Tab Boondock!
    This is by far the nicest two person camper available and with it being specifically intended for boondocking, it has numerous nice touches.
    The front rack is versatile, especially if you carry a generator, as it has a dedicated space for one.
    The improved ground clearance and off road tyres make life immeasurably better for boondocking.
    To have one's fully self contained living, sleeping, cooking and cleaning space wherever you park is a huge quality of life improvement!
    You will have many miles and years of creating happy memories in your lovely camper.

    That cutting board is a great addition. It adds some color and warmth to the kitchen area.

    I tow my 2021 T@b 320S Boondock with a 2019 Jeep Cherokee 4x4 Ltd. 👍 My hatch opens just fine. Also, when I purchased my T@b (at Apache Camping Center in Tacoma WA), they added a sway bar as a courtesy. 👏👏👏👏

    We have a 2019 T@B 320 Boon Dock with a Lock & Roll hitch/coupler (articulation) and Jack-e-up (clearance) that allows us to go on moderate 4x4 trails. They are great trailers! Proper wright distribution will negate the need for a sway bar

    Would love to see how you fill the water tank from that hose connection. I thought if you can't use a a garden hose with forced water you would have to use a 12volt pump. Thanks.

    • @rvtipsandbitsneverstoplear3895
      @rvtipsandbitsneverstoplear3895  Před 3 lety +1

      Went after through the hinges. To actually remove the hinges, haven't yet :), you do need to take stove top off to get to screws underneath. New video on this soon! Subscribe and hit bell for alerts to receive when done! I have a lot of Tab videos coming. I love learning and educating on the stuff that happens and they don't tell you easily how to fix! :)

      Hi! we keep it there mostly but if cooking, place on side against wall in cabinet or we like using for appetizers so that would be set up on table,.....generally if not actually cooking something it stays up there and goes back when cooking is done. thanks for watching! I'm working on a video with multiple upgrades to the Tab, be sure to subscribe and notified! Fun to do !

    • @rvtipsandbitsneverstoplear3895
      @rvtipsandbitsneverstoplear3895  Před 3 lety

      Yes, 2021 Jeep sports 3.6 liter, towed fine but I did opt to add a sway bar if I want to use on highways or wind etc, I think I have a video on that too. The right hitch was a challenge, but i eventually found a good match. Be sure to subscribe to channel, i have much more coming on the Tab 👍

    With this potty, do you have to use special toilet paper or can you use regular toilet paper?

    • @rvtipsandbitsneverstoplear3895
      @rvtipsandbitsneverstoplear3895  Před rokem

      You can use any but I highly recommend disposing of toilet paper in a separate bag as it will allow for alot more “volume” in the cassette toilet and less dumping :)

    Do you own a class C and a Tab? Interested to know if you upgraded your power. Like battery, more solar and if you installed an inverter since the 320 does not have one. If you have would love to see a video on the steps of doing it.

    • @rvtipsandbitsneverstoplear3895
      @rvtipsandbitsneverstoplear3895  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi! We own both, Entegra Class C and Tab 320S 2021. so on the Entegra, we went all the way, upgraded inverter, 590 watts solar etc. Thought we would do with Tab but to be honest, just wasn't a need. We have 200 watts of solar, 2 batteries, we don't use the microwave -took out, we took out the TV - just use Ipad on swivel arm, and we bought a Jackery amzn.to/2UBQvgu that offers excess energy source for charging, plugging etc and its super small. Inverters can have their own issues and because the Tab is so little we opted to forgo for now :)

    Great stuff! It looked like you may have towed it with the 2-door JK; how did that work out?

    • @rvtipsandbitsneverstoplear3895
      @rvtipsandbitsneverstoplear3895  Před 2 lety

      Yes, we actually have a 2 door and 4 door. The 2 door is a 3.6L with 3.7 axial ratio so we have a tow capability of 3500 lbs, challenge always with the tail gate and hitch set up, have a video on that too :)

    • @JKTrail
      @JKTrail Před 2 lety

      @@rvtipsandbitsneverstoplear3895 Thanks, we have a 2-door, same engine & gearing; My only concern is towing that large (hight & width more than weight) of a trailer with the short wheelbase. Looks like you have a good workaround with the tailgate and making the jack removable.

    We just purchased a similar unit and am considering purchasing a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited as out TV. Was wondering what king of gas mileage are you getting with your jeep.

    • @rvtipsandbitsneverstoplear3895
      @rvtipsandbitsneverstoplear3895  Před 3 lety

      HI! I want to say we were around 15 towing, we have 2021 Wrangler sport unlimited and 3.6L engine....I wouldn't get the turbo, my research had shown for towing to stick with the 3.6L. I have videos on tow set up too as well as sway bar (I recommend) here are the links if you haven't subscribed:.....czcams.com/video/tPzf3DcSDGM/video.html and czcams.com/video/OdYTWD38kHM/video.html . Let me know what you get! My jeep doesn't sit high enough to clear the hitch with door opening, I"ve tried a couple handle (E-Jack, ultimate jack) but the hitch itself is what hits the tire when opened. I'm waiting a bit to upgrade tires so we sit higher......

    see you are pulling with a jeep. Do you need an electric brake control? I have a manual shift and so am trying to learn all I can before I get my tab. I can pull 3500 I am looking at what you have with boondock package.

    • @rvtipsandbitsneverstoplear3895
      @rvtipsandbitsneverstoplear3895  Před 3 lety

      Yes we have an electric brake control. you want to make sure that when they install that that they also do the black wire that goes to your jeep battery to the plug, that way you can charge your batteries on the tab when you’re actually driving and plugged in to the jeep. 3500 Towing capacity is good.

    • @rvtipsandbitsneverstoplear3895
      @rvtipsandbitsneverstoplear3895  Před 2 lety +1

      I believe 5”11 is the inside height, so yes, it would be right there for sure, but I also have a friend who is 6’2” and use it. Key is he would have to really like the life style of a tiny trailer, the bathroom would be tight, you both have to find a flow, one up one sitting down, etc. but once you do, its fine. Sleeping would have to be front to back, either 2 twin set up or one full bed.
