Today im taking a look at the new Nike Calm Slide which has a lot in common with the Yeezy slide. The Nike Calm Slide is releasing July 14th in a few earth toned colour ways and has already made an impressed on people for having a familiar look. The Nike slide has a foam material with an outsole and comes in a cardboard box, it also retails for less than a Yeezy slide at $50. I go over the similarities and compare these to a pair of Yeezy slides to find out if this new Nike slide is really worth it.

How do they fit for the wider foot? Somehow managed to take an L on Yeezy Slides on the latest drop, and the Adilette 22s won't even get on my feet

How is the sizing in the calm slides ?
Personally I’ve tried the Nike calm slides and I think that after a while the Yeezy slide makes your feet hurt after a while bc they’re so soft that when you walk it reflects the grounds hardness. I think the Yeezy slides are amazing but only as a home slipper while the Nike slides are better to wear outside.
Perfect W accurate take. Agreed. The Yeezy slides are almost TOO soft and you feel like you're going to roll your ankle in them. The calms are soft yet also more solid and very durable tread and sole. Give me the calms any day.

Bought a pair of these Nike slides and they are pretty comfy and for a great price let alone the resellers haven’t gotten them yet so grab while you can

I like the Jordan Post Slide coz they are the design of the big comfy yeezy slides but just the right of designing. I love it and bought it at retail. Not sure if I should have paid retail as they don't seem to be to selling out 😂
Plus I believe the New Balance fresh Foam based slides will be the softest but can't get them in India. Although I feel jordan post slides are just as comfy as yeezy slides...
I mean every brand has some type of foam slide now. I actually have the crocs mellow slide theyre basically the same but way more comfortable crocs has the foam shoe game down to a literal science

if you remember the air force 1 fly knits they put out a while back the foam is similar to that. so pretty comfortable.
@@jd7457that foam was comfortable for an AF1, but nowhere near their actual comfortable foams they can use.
I feel like they’re a bit more firm than a yeezy slide, and it gives more arch support. If you like that then you’ll like these. Otherwise they are about the same… I was able to buy the sail pair during the Nike shock drop last week. I do not regret this purchase

I have a pair of yeezys and calm slides. Overall, I prefer the calm slides. Though the yeezys are more cushiony, the calm slides are more roomy for my feet. Yeezys are too narrow for my liking. My socks bunch up every time i slide them on. Like I said though, they’re very cushiony so I still like wearing them. Have to wear the yeezy slides with socks tho bc of blisters.
Somehow the Yeezy slide silhouette is still unbeaten.
Nike looks really good actually, but I still prefer Saleha bembury crocs among them.

Are they true to size?
Does anyone have a solid answer on what size to go with on Yeezy slides? I wear a size 9.5 in 380s but my 350 V2 CMPTs are 9. I hate when shoes are too big so I am worried about going with a size 10 but I do have a slightly wider foot. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks

Everyone saying these copied Yeezy is crazy!! A little close looking? YES. Copied? NO. And about the colors just so you know there have been Black, white or tan slides around for awhile. Just the strap mold looking like it was attached separately makes it look different. Even Yeezy's were copied from other styles.

You're all crazy. Copped these and they're fire. Yes yeezy slides are softer yet yeezy slides are almost TOO soft. Really easy to feel like you're going to roll your ankle in those and the tread wears away super fast.
Comparatively the calms have a really nice solid tread and sole, they're durable af and they're still comfortable without feeling like you're going to roll your ankle because the cushioning is too extra soft like yeezys. The calms are excellent.
If you're feeling pressure in the balls of your feet with the calms then you're flat footed. My feet are arched so I don't have that problem. With the calms you're also going to want to size up from your tts since they run small. If you have narrow feet you can go tts. People also keep saying "they're stiff out the box" again, they weren't stiff for me, they were quite comfortable yet solid feeling on foot, sturdy. And also once you break them in a bit the comfort only goes up.
Got the calms in black and getting them in sesame/khaki next and also eyeing those red ones. Calms are fire and I prefer them over my yeezy slides (which are discontinued anyway) y'all keep sleeping on these calm greatness.
Yeezy slide is a minimalistic design unlike nike bombarded with swoosh another bootleg of slide
All I know is that at $50 a pop...im going to try to get all the colorways when they release on 7/14/23.
as someone who has 3 pairs of yeezy slides I don't see myself getting the nike ones when the yeezys are hands down the most comfortable slide I've ever worn and they will become more valuable due to the fallout between kanye and adidas

I don't like the Nike swoosh everywhere, I love the yeezy slides, no in your fave flashy logo. One thing I like about yeezy is there no big company logo running across the sides of their shoes.

yeezy feels like your gonna out of balance because its too soft and if you step something stone or kinda spiky i bet u can feel it. i think calm much better when going out because for me im gonna use it everyday when im going outside like personal slipper.
