The design of the 23/24 Home jersey takes inspiration from the Giglio, the symbol of Florence and Fiorentina. Interwoven flowers combine with the fluidity of DNA, the DNA that unites all Viola fans and the team, Utilising PRO KOMBAT™ technology to uphold the club's identity and history.
Florence, May 26, 2023 - Fiorentina and Kappa® today unveil the new Kappa® Kombat™ Pro 2024, Home version, featuring a design inspired by the Giglio, the quintessential symbol of the city of Florence and the Viola Club since its establishment. The flower takes center stage as the leitmotif of Kappa's 2023/24 collection, intertwining purity, vitality, and beauty to depict the most representative element of the Club in all its evocative power.
The new home kit will be worn for the first time by the Viola players tomorrow, on the occasion of the final match of the season at the Artemio Franchi Stadium. The pattern that characterises the jersey is an all-over design that repeats on the front, sleeves, and back panel. The pattern consists of interlinked lilies, tonal graphics that create a DNA-like effect, the unique and unmistakable DNA of those who love the purple colors. It represents an unmistakable genetic heritage shared by all who love Fiorentina and Florence. On the back of the collar, on the outside, the inscription "PLAY TO BE DIFFERENT" is positioned, the club's brand claim, an invitation to stand out and always value one's uniqueness on and off the field. On the inner side of the collar, there are 13 lilies, just like in the previous collection, paying homage to the twelfth man and to Davide Astori, forever the captain. Technically, the Kappa® Kombat™ Pro 2024 is further perfected with its ultralight fabrics and Nylon stretch seams to guarantee maximum comfort and elasticity. The jersey is made of 85% recycled polyester and 15% elastane. The Hydroway Protection Technology ensures high breathability and effective heat release. For the 2023/2024 season, Kappa® will continue to sponsor Fiorentina with technical-sporting equipment on the field, while the brands Robe di Kappa®, K-Way®, Superga®, Briko®, and Sebago® will provide the athletes with representative clothing and footwear.
