Suppose Khalid is my father and Salama is my mother. It is important to respect personal boundaries and avoid discussing sensitive topics, such as someone's parents' relationship, especially on public platforms like social media. Engaging in such discussions can lead to unnecessary speculation and misunderstandings, which can be detrimental to everyone involved.

The correct view as indicated by the evidence is that the woman’s face is ‘awrah which must be covered. It is the most tempting part of her body, because what people look at most is the face, so the face is the greatest ‘awrah of a woman. This is in addition to the shar’i evidence which states that it is obligatory to cover the face.
For example, Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“And tell the believing women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts) and not to show off their adornment except only that which is apparent (like both eyes for necessity to see the way, or outer palms of hands or one eye or dress like veil, gloves, headcover, apron), and to draw their veils all over Juyoubihinna (i.e. their bodies, faces, necks and bosoms)…” [al-Nur 24:31]
Drawing the veil all over the juyub implies covering the face.
When Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked about the verse (interpretation of the meaning): “O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks (veils) all over their bodies.” [al-Ahzab 33:59], he covered his face, leaving only one eye showing. This indicates that what was meant by the verse was covering the face. This was the interpretation of Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) of this verse, as narrated from him by ‘Ubaydah al-Salmani when he asked him about it.
In the Sunnah, there are many ahadith, such as: the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The women woman in ihram is forbidden to veil her face (wear Niqab) or to wear the burqa’.” This indicates that when women were not in ihram, women used to cover their faces.
This does not mean that if a woman takes off her Niqab or burqa’ in the state of ihram that she should leave her face uncovered in the presence of non-mahram men. Rather she is obliged to cover it with something other than the Niqab or burqa’, on the evidence of the hadith of ‘Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) who said: “We were with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in ihram, and when men passed by us, we would lower the Khimar on our heads over our faces, and when they moved on we would lift it again.”
Women in ihram and otherwise are obliged to cover their faces in front of non-mahram men, because the face is the center of beauty and it is the place that men look at… and Allah knows best.” (Fatawa al-Marah al-Muslimah, 1/396, 397)
      He also said:
“It is OK to cover the face with the Niqab or burqa’ which has two openings for the eyes only, because this was known at the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and because of necessity. If nothing but the eyes show, this is fine, especially if this is customarily worn by women in her society.” (Fatawa al-Marah al-Muslimah, 1/399)

Men can hate a woman, not be attracted to her, and still hold her hostage for the sake of her not being with someone else, and/or so he can have somebody to lay with until he finds someone else - IF he finds someone else. If the relationship ends, it's usually because the woman had enough, although that doesn't mean he was at fault. Her "enough" may have been small or resolvable.

The stigmas of society and the opinion of people doesn't matter in Islam. It is highly recommended in Islam for a woman to not speak in front of non Mehrams if it's not necessary. It is closer to the taqwa of Allah swt. The wives and daughters of prophet Muhammad pbuh practiced it. Many of the sahabiyat practiced it. It is much closer to piousness for a woman. So we should not try to practice Islam in a way that please the society and people, but we should practice Islam in a way that please Allah swt and which is the way of prophet pbuh.

So why do you think prophet pbuh didn't allowed the women to not even say subhanAllah in the masjid? Because their are non Mehrams in the masjid. And it is not encouraged for a woman to make her voice audible to non Mehram without necessity.

When it comes to divorce, the first thing should be mentioned is how many times did they do jamaah together daily? Yes, men are recommended to salah in masjid but after that they can go home and still be imam to the family. Prayers are what connect us to God. If you are missing it, fight your best to be as consistent as possible. Allah knows our effort to do so

Salam Ali, as someone who hosts bitter truth show with approval of high level scholars why dont you show your wife or let her speak, I'm in no way asking you to do this but I would expect you to have the same level of respect to other people's wife's and daughters as you would for yours.
When Assim AL Hakeem made a post about bitter truth you defended it as, your scholars approved, where girls have make up and talk about illicit topics, seeing as you aren't allowing your wife to talk in public let alone show herself, this is a double standard.
I generally support you and have supported your various projects in the past but as a brother I advice you
    Wassalam

You wouldn't film someone against their will. The women and men on the bitter truth show have no problem being in full view of the camera whereas Ali's wife rather not be in the center of the spotlight. It's their choice. It'd be unethical to film someone who doesn't want to be on camera.

If he "force" this format on other woman on the Bitter Truth Show, the women online will get angry with him because "he is making woman not seen and not heard".
And if any female panels choose to be appear like this, i believe Ali more than happy to accomodate but apparently most eomen now have social media and post their photos and videos daily so to appear in a show that cover awrah is not anything wrong at all and not even seat side by side.

Whilst you keep your marriage and wife hidden and private you openly discuss another woman whose marriage has broken down and bring out their flaws and issues in the public realm

May Allah give you both good health and protection from all evil, Ameen. I really felt the part about the evil-eye and keeping your private life a secret, even from your blood-relations, because my dad sometimes over shares to my aunties/uncles, and exaggerates while doing so (especially my educational status), and I genuinely believe it's making my life more difficult. For sure we can’t take sides, blame one person. You definitely need to hear both sides of the story. In the interview, Soloma mostly talks about her childhood trauma. The questions are not directly about her marriage. We don’t know for sure if they are separate or divorced. They may be divorced due to a mutual agreement. Nobody has to be the monster, some couples do divorce peacefully. Maybe they are separate and working it out through marriage counseling, who knows.

I appreciate Brother Ali for raising the question about why men are automatically blamed. In my experience, it's never the brothers' fault. This '70s stereotype of men being abusive has been used heavily recently, and unfortunately, some of our sisters have adopted this view. From my perspective, these sisters seem unhappy and are quick to leave at the slightest difficulty or unhappiness. Nowadays, there's an expectation for brothers to entertain the sister and excel at everything, just because of her existence. There is no reciprocation.

    • @vaastafraja5685
      @vaastafraja5685 Před měsícem

In today's terms, even the mildest criticism of her inappropriate joke is considered abuse. These sisters will cry abuse, using that '70s stereotype against their husbands, because their husband simply told her not to be rude. The majority of the brother are victim of this.

As for K and S, she spoke on her podcast about her childhood, not divorce, according to people above. It's best to not discuss married people only because it's none of our business.
