Awesome car show , Thankyou Ponytail Ruth
Seeing these cars in the UK and narrated by a Brit, is great to me. A different point of view.
Growing up, my family had a ‘49 Chevy DeLuxe and a ‘59 Chevy too.
Thanks
Chip Chip cheerio and all that good stuff mate !!!
Lovely place for a car show. Are there many car shows in England that feature mainly American classics like this show does?
Sometimes you will find British cars at car shows here in the US...usually Morris Minors. MGs, Jaguars and Triumphs are also very popular in their own right, here. You might not find them at many car shows, but there are clubs across the country that sponsor their own shows and rallies. My father once owned a 1963 or 64 TR4 and was in a club that had rallies. He also owned a couple of Jaguars, one of which was a 1958 XK150. I came home from the hospital in that car......my first ride ever! :-)
Beautiful Pontiac Robin egg blue .

Here's a news flash for you Limey. American cars don't have "bonnets" they have hoods.
We are not stupid and we do know the different descriptive words used between English and American everyday language. This obviously applies to vehicle related and other things in general, including the differences in spelling, like grey/gray or colour/color etc. The fact that we are English and living in England, means that we say it our normal way. I naturally assume that works both ways and any British vehicles in America would be described the American way.
