Time travelers and cell phones: If this really happened, and color me doubtful, who would they be communicating with and how did the do it? Without cell towers and electricity communication over microwave towers would be highly problematic.
as much as i agree. but. why would they be communicating? there are apps on phones where you can just type out notes. the camera can be used like a mirror. not to mention a compass app too. also we have had portable batteries for years now. its just my brain overthinking like it always does.
If it's one of those pictures/videos I've seen... they've all been well and truly debunked.

OK, I picked another one to easily debunk (because I haven't see it before). Jay Z 8'12" . Photography is something I've been doing for a very long time - back in the days when we sill had slides and developed those at home too. Colour printing C41 process required an expensive enlarger. Digital "film" has about 14 stops of coverage (in RAW) less in more compressed formats. But it's reasonable to assume that pic of Jay Z has at least 10-12 despite the compression from CZcams and at source. The photo of the un identified man on the left has at best 3-5 stops. Once an image has been on display the passage of time and UV light bleaches it. That WW2 era print seems to show a man of about mid 20s of average build for the day and it's very faded indeed. The detail is a devil to see - or the devil is in the details that you can't. A lot of these "old" photos fall into this trap.
All African-American people came from the same part of the world and have a specific skull-shape and facial features as reflected in their own descendents. Same with Europeans. There are different classifications and the ones I was taught would now appear racist (we’re all a single race/species), but we have adaptations to live where we migrated to in the far distant past. We all came out of Africa so that is the least changed appearance (sorry racists, African Americans are the original people). Two primary changes affected the earliest migrants, although there are others.
You're thinking about *current* cellphone technology. Obviously a time traveler comes from a future where such technology exists, including cell phones that work anywhere and come with their own power source.

As for the "doppelgangers", there's always the possibility that they are old relatives. Either that or it's just a coincidence, because sometimes two unrelated people can look like siblings or similar.

Well the Flux Capacitor was triggered when the car hit 88Mph, why didn't Doc Brown just turn it down so the FC clicked on when it hit 20Mph or 5Mph? I don't think the time machine had to be going that speed to break through time, it just had to go that fast so the FC wasn't going off at a regular speed.

There’s only so many genotype combinations humans can produce before the sequences start over again, so there’s going to be SOME ONE out there that looks like you, either presently, or in the past

IF you could travel to the future bij going at the speed of light, you are F'd. Whether you go west or east, north or south, you are moving forward. NEVER backwards. If you sit backwards in a train, you are still moving forward. It's more likely to enter another dimension.

I've seen so many of these kinds of clips, and they mostly use the same pictures to make up "new" videos. I've seen the big guy with sunglasses at least 20 or more times in different videos. I guess once you get a good schtick, you stay with what works until it's worn out. Newsflash: It's worn out.
Thank you my favorite narrator on Be Amazed, for finally telling the truth about so many of these, especially that one about the guy with sunglasses, a camera and a t shirt, I had seen something a couple years ago that showed that that photo was from a series of photos used in a display in Canada, that someone noticed that guy and decided to pretend was a time traveller or at least was dumb enough to think it was in any case! I have mentioned it a few times on other channels who brought it up as proof of time travel, oh along with woman in that clip from a Charlie Chaplin movie, that people thought was a holding a cell phone! You can even see a long thin part of the object jotting out from behind her hand, which is obviously the part where they can pick up sound, probably in front of them! I would have suspected headphones with a mic myself, instead of a cell phone, to be honest, lol!
Also I think the funniest one is the Australian TikToker who, understandably, thought she had picked up a transmission from a time traveler, because she was picking up a real kind of transmission from that place doing some kind of game instead! It was kind of nice to see the girl wasn't actually trying to fool people, with something that was faked by her, I can certainly understand why she thought she was really picking up a real time traveler, even I would have to be honest!

Being older myself, radio interference was the first thing I thought of given the radio signal used to disappear when the sun went down when I was a child on long wave, FM wasn't much better! I used to love trying to get all the channels but interference used to be really annoying 📻 I just love that this was So creepy and had escaped from an escape room too 😂

depends on the year. a newer one would not survive at all. all the sensitive electronics and plastics/carbon fiber definitely would not survive. heck even the delorian wouldnt. the tires would crack from being frozen. and the plastic on the front and back wouldnt survive either... but. with the body being brushed steel. it definitely has a better chance than newer cars. older cars would do better than newer cars since older cars dont have computers and crazy ammount of computer controlled parts. any late 60s mustang or camaro would be awsome...

First one is easy to explain, someone dropped the ring near the tomb, and some creature (desert rat maybe) dragged it into the tomb, something similar happened in the UK and they found a burrow.

When you went down this rabbit hole a decade ago to dig deeper and find these are hoaxes or misunderstood; like the astronaut in the architecture. That building was renovated after we had spacecraft used to this day wrongly. "Doppelgangers" how many facial features are there? Yup just enough to have the "same" person be seen throughout history.
That's exactly how those police make-a-face kits work. There's like 27 different ears or something: on top flat round or pointed, earlobe attached or not, back round or not, etc etc etc. Same with noses, cheeks. All controlled by a limited number of genes.

The problem with time travel is very complex. First off you have to establish whether the travel is linear or if trying go back forwards has infinite branching paths to represent the changes you've caused with whatever you did in the past, in which case you'd need some sort of temporal anchor or a way to detect exactly which future is the exact spot you came from. Then there's the basic logistics of it. Great. You can go back in time. Odds are you won't even land on Earth, let alone in a safe location like not inside a wall or some other object. You'd have to know the exact position of the planet, the land you intend to be on, and the location of any and all obstacles including living things. The same applies to going back forward. It's a lot more complex than people realize. Achieving it is just the first hurdle. There's also knowing whether changes in the past actually alters the present you came from. Either it does or it doesn't, and without an anchor or way to locate your exact origin you'll just move forward into one ( or one of ) timelines where changes have happened. If it doesn't change your point of origin then changes to the past are pretty much irrelevant.
That's not even getting into just how easy it is to cause changes. The tiniest thing you'd never think of could cause people not to meet, people not to be born. Just your mere presence is enough to cause all sorts of havoc with how things went in the past. You could get lucky and it's only minor. Or it could be very major and catastrophic. By and large the whole thing should just be avoided at all costs. It's not something anyone should play around with let alone attempt. The risks are too high and we have no idea if there's consequences outside of what we can actually ponder and think of. For all we know going back in time unravels space and time and could destroy the planet outright, or the solar system, or the whole universe itself. There's just too much unknown. Not that it matters. If for a pico second someone thinks they can get rich or powerful with it an attempt will be made regardless of the risks. Because human greed. It knows no bounds.
I've already proven that time travel won't happen in my lifetime. Promised myself that if it was real, I'd travel back and tell myself so on my 18th birthday. As you might expect, that didn't happen.
Maybe time travel has been invented in your lifetime, but due to senility or alzheimers, you simply forgot to go back to your 18th birthday.
