@@PaulWhittington1 That skillet is only expensive because of the brand they commissioned. It's a $250 Butter Pat skillet with the YETI logo and YETI marks it up another $50. Companies do that all the time. Bass Pro, Cracker Barrel, Cabela's, and others commission Lodge to put their company logo on the pans. YETI just used an already insanely high priced pan for theirs.

That scoop would end up in my minnow bucket. Then, like scoops of the past, it would be almost immediately stolen by my kid to play with in the sand. Then, also like the scoops before it, my kid would forget it on a beach. Then I would toss him off the boat for losing a $50 minnow scoop. Then my wife would go off for hours about "my anger issues" or "drinking in the morning" or some other nonsense. She'd want counseling. I'd go fishing in the morning before the appointment but I'd be running late because I couldn't find a minnow scoop.... So... Yeti is pretty much trying to ruin father-son relationships and marriages at this point. At least that's the way I see it.

My wife and I have a Coleman we bought for, like, $80 a few years ago, and to this day it's the best damn cooler I've ever used. Comes with the extending handle and wheels, which is more than fancy enough in my book. We moved twice with it, and after a few hours in the cooler it was like taking the stuff straight out of the fridge again. It's held ice solid on a hot beach day for, what, maybe four or five hours? Yeti really is just for showing off how rich you are, but I just can't justify the $200 for a stupid ice bucket that's way smaller than my Coleman and probably doesn't offer anything that mine doesn't

Sure Yeti makes quality coolers that can keep ice frozen for days, but there's a little trick that I use when fishing to turn a cheap clear walmart sweater box/storage bin into a great cooler. Get a bag of ice and Viva paper towels or white shop towels, wrap about 10-15 paper towels around the bag of ice and put it in the bin, then put a white towel over the bin or put it in a white garbage bag to reflect the light. It usually takes about 1 day for the ice to melt on an average summer day in the northeast US. And it's much easier to move around.

Gave a friend a $3 foam cooler with YETI handwritten on the side, filled with ice and beer for all less than the price of the scoop. Way better deal.

Have y’all seen the wine bottle holder! I am a Yeti user and collector. I have both. What he didn’t mention is the $50 beer bottle opener, called the brick.

I think Yeti learned from the US Government school of design. Make everything as expensive as possible, often to the point of total absurdity.

An under $20 Styrofoam cooler from Walmart does the same job with a 10 pound bag of ice.
As a matter of fact, my 20 year old Playmate 6-pack cooler keeps my beer cold all day. Don't waste your money buying the NAME BRAND instead of the product.

Only person I can see that really can use this is a pro fighter.. keeping the ice cold as possible to cool you during the 1 min breaks.. I got a yetti on Black Friday, love it but some of there products I seen and still seeing from this channel is blow my mind 🤯. A 40 bucket, this ice bucket, a 200 blanket, 50 bottles iron rod and I’m just getting deeper down this rabbit hole of crazy yeti products 😂

They are clearly built for YETIS, it has their name right on the side. They are notorious for breaking their ice buckets and scoops.

I have 2 igloo maxcold coolers. Early this year, I won a Yeti tundra cooler. Took all three of them camping. My Igloo coolers held ice longer. Yeti cooler is overhyped. I mean, it was free. Still, someone is paying $325 for garbage that doesn't hold a candle to a $60 Igloo cooler.
