Cool set always wanted to make one like that! I used my 50s Slingerland parade drum for a tom back in the 70s then for a snared left bass pedaled kick, then restored it. Ive been into the Allman bros a lot lately, so much fun to play to that stuff, great job son!
So often we forget the wonderful percussion that drives a great song and this is a super job! Spot on.

Excellent! I play but I don't read so when I play the drums to a song that has dual drummers, I tend to blend and mix the licks of both by picking out the most pronounced passages of each. You did a fantastic job and handled the sticking of perhaps the best drum part of the two. I'm 67 now and I don't do any stage or band playing anymore. I still play at home but only for my own comfort, serenity, and enjoyment, (these days it's an electronic kit but I miss and much prefer the acoustic kits).

Excellent man! Your energy precedes yourself. I downloaded all the versions of this Jammit song and last time it took a while for Jammit to realize there was no server to log into, it started and showed me my library and let me change all the tunes that I knew I might be able to play at that time in my life. I still have the iMac 27" and cloned it's HD & SSD and the Media SSD. I also made screen captures with the TAB and the Notation preparing for the inevitable closure of Jammit, as Scott had lost his home to not giving up on such a great tool. Hi Bennett, superb playing, this is one of my favourite pieces, ( I`m a keys/gtr/bass guy) I wanted to record this, and I`m doing so at present in my tiny home studio, and programming the drum track was always going to be a nightmare, then I found your video, and I was able to break every section right down, so thanks, you made my work-load much lighter!!!

Imma guitar player more than anything but I've been the bass player and I've been the drummer in the band live on stage. I can keep a solid beat and my chops will get me paid but this guy has the drum thing going on. This is a drummer

I came here to research different drummers playing this song, because I've been assigned it as part of a performance gig in year 1 of my degree. It sounds easy but there is so much going on and to keep the groove isn't easy.
I really love the energy and I'm going to be attempting to emulate this style of performance over some of the more wooden ones I've seen.
I've literally just gone through the song just playing the ride cymbal to get that connective tissue going then add the other bits in soon. But nervous about trying to play it next week as this isn't easy to put together in a few days (especially when 5 other modules take up your time!!)

Eric Stromdahl Thank you. The drums are my purple heart stave shell drums by Joshua Tree Percussion and Hard Bop Drums, assembled to specifications which were used by Sonor for their Signature Series drums.

Gregory De Cola Thank you. The microphones are a stereo matched pair of Neumann KM 184's, going into a Sound Devices 702 stereo field recorder. I imported the track into iMovie and synced it up with a little eq. That's it.
