Biltmore Mansion Asheville NC - The top floor of the Biltmore House, George Vanderbilt's fabulous mansion in Asheville, served three purposes: an Observatory overlooking the sweeping Appalachian landscape and adjacent outdoor balconies; the Architectural Model Room housing Richard Morris Hunt's 1889 architectural model of Biltmore House and the female servants' quarters. Get a behind-the-scenes tour of these recently opened rooms which provide an interesting contrast to the more opulent public rooms on the lower floors.

I don't find it creepy at all. I find it amazing to live in such luxury in that time. I want to visit this gorgeous place. Thanks for the video.
The place is beautiful, especially the entrance with all the plants. I definitely recommend going.
I did visit it in North Carolina! It is truly a beautiful sight!!!
Wonder how many kids were killed in the swimming pool.
The Biltmore Estates is a great tourist attraction for any one who is interested in historic unique landmarks.
Hello
Im your subscriber since 2014 before you got famous
I all ways wanted to be able to go to the Biltmore house and take my 17yr old son for Christmas!!!
@@gabrielbantigue5607 That's Great!!!!!!!
The whole estate is beautiful! The land, the gardens (3), their own dairy farm, the house itself is gorgeous. Went here on my honeymoon from marriage #1, which only lasted a year or so. I've been twice, once during the spring when all the flowers are blooming, and autumn. Going there when it is decorated for Christmas is on the bucket list.
Visited just yesterday. An amazing structure. Ahh, what money can buy.
@Maoot How would u know
Maoot anyone can visit it dumbass
I first saw this house, about 50 years ago. It's a surreal place. The grounds so beautiful. I always wonder how astonished the locals must have been, at seeing George's castle going up in what then was dirt poor Appalachia. What many don't know is that George was over-ambitious and ran out of money to totally finish the estate as conceived. And to think that he was a bachelor for the first three years of living there - so incredible. It surely is a monument to wealth and ego - except, that is what George was raised around. And the Vanderbilt's were the masters of showing off unthinkable wealth. A fantastic book: "The Rise and Fall of the Vanderbilt's." Also, of interest, are the Vanderbilt mansions in Newport, RI.
NOW THATS LUXURIOUS LIVING!
Biltmore Estate is the biggest house I'll ever see. It was inspiring.
I was at Biltmore Estate in 2009. It is a must see!
Biltmore was so full of color and beautiful gardens!
Imagine how many servants, gardeners, etc. that house would need, especially in the late 1800's.
Biltmore Asheville NC is absolutely fabulous! Loved it.
How exquisite! Beautiful furniture...
THe Biltmore Estate looks like a castle that could be found in Europe or something.

DID YOU KNOW? The Mid 1980 Comedy Team Of Tim Conway & Don Knotts Starred In A Film Exclusively Shot There At Biltmore Manor. The Private Eyes. It's Mind Blowing Discovering SO MANY Fact Based Locations And Remembering The Movie As A Child And Then Finding Out As An Adult WOW I Remembered That House In that Movie & Never Connected The DOTS Until Of Course Years Later! Beautifully Done Documentary & Presented Obviously A Well Knowledgeable & Trained Historian. I Am LEFT In AWE Struck The Amount Of Wealth From Just 1 Person ? What Are We All Doing WRONG! Such A VAST Amount Of Incredible Beauty Property. It Was Saddening To See The Stone Gargoyles All Showing Their Age? Any Talk About Doing A Complete Exterior Clean On The Historic Mansion? BRAVO On A In credible Documentary I Hope There's A Full DVD Of this With More Content.
This is so ironic.
I'm in Salt Lake City. The apartment unit I live in just so happens to be the Biltmore floor plan--1 bed, 1 bath, 617 square feet to be exact. LMFAO!
lmao. That's interesting marketing.

If you haven't already visited Biltmore Estate, you definitely need to go!
Beautiful😍
I like to go there someday!
Been there for my sisters bday
This mansion was featured in the movie Richie rich which was supposedly taken place in Illinois 🤔
The Biltmore is 3 times larger than Hearst Castle..... and Hearst Castle certainly isn't small. That said, there are quite a few estates larger than Hearst Castle... Oheka, Blairsden, Breakers, etc... just to name a few. Biltmore
I am on my way right now to it and I hope that I get to see inside
How was it?
Unfortunately he didn't make it out
my summer residence.
Can you purchase Biltmore Estate tickets in advance or at the gate only?
Toured It
Wow
Does it cost extra for Biltmore house tickets and seeing the gardens, villages and winery?
I lived there in 1890's
Just came from here
Biltmore Estate...This is a time when rich people had taste and style. Look at the mega rich of today like Trump and Spelling for example, for their hideous ugly mansions. Just shows money cannot always buy you taste.
I went there
Where can I get tickets to Biltmore?
it also had a bowling room AND a pool INSIDE the house!!!!
Alma Valeria Adams inside pool isn't that special where there's winter season
+Alma Valeria Adams WOAH!!!
I said to my daughter " We can't go to Europe, but we can visit The Biltmore Mansion!"

Our school had our prom on the grounds not in the house though
Megan King that's sooo cool in jealous
At a time when tuberculosis ran rampant in the US.
ahh the house that the railroads built
En español
im from there and ive never been
You do not miss a thing.
It's pretty much impossible to overstate their wealth........ they defined modern wealth if you ask me. Wealth of industry versus aristocracy Biltmore Estate
I want to use this video for my ff here on CZcams please allow me , I'll credit you
I've toured the house - that this video wasted time on servants quarters and the mechanical systems is bizarre, every other area of the home is more worthy of profiling.
Anderson Coopers Grandparents place.
The mansion cost $358.00 dollars to built at the time! Lol
House was n movie richy rich an hannibal
#richpope
George Vanderbilt owner

Jeremiah Miller I spent a weekend there as a kid about 20 years ago
Misty Miley I'll sub u if u sub me
BETTER than the White House or Buckingham Palace.
richie rich house
I would want to marry here with my future husband.
Unbelievable
I can appreciate the architecture, the history and the expense, but the gothic gargoyles, arches, spirals all looks on the masonic side to me and possibly satanic. Creepy.
Agreed, that's because the Vanderbilt family is illuminati bloodline. Masonic and satanic roots.
schinen, when you are at a property that your commander, what i profiled from italy or misuse of the qq plate from italy, is illegally operating in the US at, poaches it from me to you as a chenin blanc; was it not obvious to you that you were operating in the US? he is claiming ownership of a stolen property in the US.
is it me or does anyone else find this mansion creepy
If they were anything like me, terrified of break ins, they would hire security to be literally stationed everywhere. Id literally have the entire house checked round the clock and everyone that I hired would be thouroughly checked by different people. I wouldnt trust a soul and It wouldnt matter who the hell they were, and how much they sweet talked me or tried to scare me, it wouldnt make a difference. Nowadays, you have to monitor the skys and the ground, its not just your living quarters. I couldnt make it as a security guard. Id probably be a nervous wreck, and Id get no rest at night. Even with the security personnel, I wouldnt sleep because I wouldnt trust them either.
11marylena there is secerity gaurds standing and walking all around and have lots of ropes and gates so you can't get to some stuff. But ya now days I wouldn't trust people going in to it but it's so pretty and interesting to learn about
mr zed everything about the1800s is creepy but i like creepy so i think its cool lol
mr zed I spent a weekend at biltmore as a kid and it's actually quite comfortable and cozy
I went their I got some weird vibes
Thats an Old World building...
Buggymen could not build that house in the 1800
its different for everyone. we all know i'm petite franc. that impersonating me or using my line is obviously a french swiss cab franc. that's what is difficult. they have an entire cult on the moment of this display of poaching in the US. i never told them I have a french side. i tried to gather intel on their type to organize the different types of genocide. this is where we funded diesel technology on the matter of makeing sure our own kind knew how to make diesel fuel from scratch.
Thx
Crazy how the Vanderbilts where the richest family on earth at the time… now not one of the descendants is a millionaire now. Squandered building dumb shit like this, that they don’t even own anymore the GOV does.
The Biltmore Estate was a good family trip.
Amazing
Biltmore is where they filmed the movie Hannibal in 2001, I believe.
