At least that's how 60% of the world's population (us Asians) do it though. 😅A "dishwasher" isn't even a thing in my country and I've never even seen one ( I'm 29 years old fyi) We all use the sponge and regularly wash it after we use it. 9:45 A little back story here. Hobi was in the Hybe building's dance room practising his dance all alone and it was late at night. He wanted to go to the washroom but realised it was dark outside and there was nobody else on the entire floor there at the time so he got really scared. He didn't want to turn off the Vlive 'cos he felt comforted by the fact that we were all with him watching 😂 He just did not want to walk through that hallway all alone so he took us with him because it felt less scary to him.
😂 to give you context, that's how a lot of us asians wash the dishes, we really use sponges. And washing socks with shampoo is how you do it when you are in hotels with no detergent available 😂
I am not an Asian but I also wash the dishes with a sponge, the same way as JK ;p hahaha, I usually pour some water on the sponge first though or wash it when it is not too clean ;)

Hobi was living out of hotel rooms and ran out of socks. Travelling makes for different rules.

In Asia, we all just wash our socks with anything that can make bubbles and it's close to us😂shampoo, soap, liquid soap, dish soap, washing powder, literally whatever 😂 at least it's like this in the middle east, but I think it's probably like that in whole asia😂
I think only americans fill the sink with soapy water I think at least 70% of the world washes dishes like JK😂 😂 😂

Hi Bryan, I think the main reason an insane number of Army watch when they leave the room (I'm talking millions) is because you Never know what's going to happen or who might walk in. It's chaos of the best kind.
The Just Dance session with Jin, Jimin and Yoongi is the perfect example, he's dancing right next to Jimin ok, but Yoongi was feeling the vibe big time that day and he slaaaayed dancing to "Havana" and Army just loved it. Vlives are like a surprise package, you don't know what's going to happen and there have been some epic ones over the years.
Dishwasing in Korea was a bit of culture shock at first, but now I totally wash my dishes the same way (but usually not with a sponge.) Got to the shampooing of socks, and let me tell you that when I was backpacking through Asia, living 2 months at a time on 4 pairs of socks is tough. Handwashing with soap can sometimes only get you so far. Shampoo smelled way nicer and lathered really well. I was totally on the same page with Hobi! 💜
Big not so secret to BTS success is the eternal VLive chaos. They don’t do them quite as often but especially when they are bored (like when they were in Covid quarantine) they get on to hang out with Army.

If you like to watch old VLives, you can. There are some iconic ones. And then there are also some were they talk about their albums. Namjoon talking about MOTS7 is a great one (but also heartbreaking)
Soap is soap, whether it is dish soap or laundry soap or hand soap so long as they get the job done. I use my dish soap to handwash some laundry cos it lathers more. The separation is just market for business in America
Yes I washed some of my clothing with soap or shampoo when I was backpacking. Shampoo is just as nice as laundry liquid/powder. Probably using the same ingredient/agents
Oh I love SugArmyy channel so much! 🥰💜 after consuming a ton of BTS contents, official or fanmade, one thing I realized is that, it's just so satisfying and healing watching the tannies live and exist... their aura is just something that warms your heart.

Shampoo socks - they were in a hotel, making do with what was available. And now I will always know how to say 'socks' in Korean.
the shampoo sock thing was because he was in a hotel where he couldn’t wash his clothes another way, socks is one of the first thing you want to do when you do camping for example and you do it exactly like that lmao
Hi Brian, you asked before about the swirling wine thing. Just something I picked up overtime but it's called decanting. You decant wine for 2 reasons, one to separate sediment which can affect the flavor and 2 to expose it to oxygen which will theoretically release aroma and more flavor. This actually doesn't matter with most wines that we normal people drink because even decanting isn't gonna make a difference. But for non plebeians decanting is very important and you can even buy special decanting glassware

For me, one person living alone, that's how I do my dishes. Since I rinse dishes well with clean water after using a sponge...I don't give it a second thought. My house is clean and I'm healthy...rarely getting sick.

That's how I wash our dishes with warm water, soap and sponges and scrub it really hard. Maybe in the restaurant there's technique but us Asian we do the same thing as JK.
I prefer washing my socks with shampoo rather than soap when I'm not at home because it makes your socks smell nice and it easily lathers on. 😂 💜

Catching a V live is always fun, but to be honest since you don’t speak Korean you could watch any of the V LIVE that happened on the V live app or on weaverse or even CZcams. Because they will have subtitles! So even though watching a V LIVE in the moment is alotta fun watching it once it has subtitles added is a better experience in my opinion because Bts is hilarious
Alot of cultures actually uses sponges when doing dishes. I wasn’t used to it either but then I spend some time in Central America. It works really well as long as you keep it clean and put it to dry when done.

Btw at the end of the video, NAMJOON was doing his VLIVE in his own Studio.... But Vmin came to disturb him very "lovingly" 😂 ... First Taehyung came and took over. Then Jimin came and took over. This duo loves role playing btw.
And then in next clip, it was Seokjin's birthday and he was doing a live alone. Jimin - Jhope - Jungkook joined him one by one. Then Taehyung came, rang the bell, and run away. When Jin went out of the room to check him, they locked him outside 😂😂 and made it 3J's live. Jin was seen knocking at the door in behind the scenes video... Where he could see 3Js in the room playing, and he was yelling at them to not wave and open the door for him.
They were way too goofy at that time and never leave a chance to tease each other 😂😂 That's totally their love language ❤️

Wine 🍷 needs to ~breathe~ so once the bottle it opened, you leave it alone for a few minutes to let the oxygen penetrate the wine and bring out more flavor. Twirling your glass does 2 things: it let's the wine aerate more, and it let's you see how long the wine clings to the glass which shows you it's quality
I've heard stuff like Natalie Henderson wrote in this article below about sponges since I was a kid and it made me terrified of sponges, so I've never used one unless it was once and then thrown away immediately. Her article says, "German scientists studied kitchen sponges found in homes across Germany. Though the sample size was small, the number of bacteria they found in these sponges was not. Researchers found 362 different species of bacteria in sponges, and 45 billion bacteria per square centimeter. That means, part of your kitchen sponge could have as much bacteria as the inside of a toilet. The USDA recommends that you try to clean your sponges daily, but even that is not a perfect solution." I know a lot of people use sponges everyday and are fine and there's absolutely nothing wrong with using them but for me hearing things like this all the time growing up here in the US made me too scared to ever use them. 😅

Using shampoo to wash your small items is ok. It contains the same sulphates as soap/ detergent that straps oil and dirt.

@@DestructiveMediaYT Detergent or shampoo pretty much have similar component or it must be an Asian things that we use whatever lol, I wash my personal stuff if it small by hand using shampoo too ahhaha. Just convenient. The same as washing dishes if it is only a few items I put the soap on the punch and wash it because I wash scrub the bowl out with my hands with hot or warm water after anyways. We don't just rinse it through and we don't use dish washer as well and use dish washer as drying rack ahahah.

Yeah when I was in Korea, I found that they sell these laundry detergent bars for people to handwash. I never used it but it's popular pretty sure especially if you're traveling.
