Not allowing me to imput my email can I have a link to the course I need to buy
Much appreciation for the âHigh-Qualityâ uploads tip. I had no idea it was turned off!
Do you know exactly what format High Quality uploads is in compared to not being toggled? Is it 720p
I don't see this in my settings
@@jep6752 it's an iPhone exclusive feature
@@fuzzyfps5644 ohhh đ thanks
I just edited my first reel following your instructions and it came out really good. Thank you
Thanks mate, really needed this! Been battling to get the quality good enough to post.
Amazing! The quality certainly had a good change, thanks a lot!
Looking forward to the release of the IG reels course youâre dropping bro! Super awesome content!
Looking forward to the course! Your reels are đ„đ„
Canât wait for the course bro!
Dude!!! Thanks for that never knew about the higher quality uploading setting!
What a great video, helps A LOT in the beginning.
awesome stuff Henbu đđżđđżđđż
Great content and you have a thoughtful and fun communication style. Thanks!
Can't wait for you to drop the course if you could put your settings for LOG3 and go over sony menu in depth with how to add your luts also after shooting all way the way up to uploading would be awesome.
Super helpful. Thanks for posting.
My thought on Vert/Horz. You can also trim horizontal to vertical (as long as your wide enough). You can never make vertical into horizontal/wide.
Only though if you shoot in something like 4:3; gives you much more vertical video from originally horizontal footage. Thereâs just not enough vertical information on 16:9 unless youâre miles away from your subject
found this extremely helpful! thanks man!
Nice tutorial, I'll test it right now!
Damn! Worked like a charm! Thank you soooo much!
05:55 You actually can. I airdrop it if using my iMac and the resolution stays in 2160. Then I just upload straight to Instagram
The quality doesnât stay at 2k tho, Indyâs only allows 1080 pđ
Thanks cool tips bro! đ€đŒâșïž
thanks man your channel iis my go to for learning premiere pro !!
Always struggled with the same thing - deciding whether to shoot vertical or horizontal. Used to shoot vertical but now I try to shoot horizontal and just pay attention to the framing in case I decide to crop it in post
love you man!
Hey man. Been following you for years.. Iâm just curious how you manage old file storage? Im always shooting in standard pp for the reason that a compressed slog2 (via handbreak) is hard to re-color grade, like i loose the dynamic range. Probably a user error when compressing, idk.. so looking forward to your response
Subbing from IG love the shot of the plane âïž wow so close but so beautiful
this helped soooooo much đŻ
Very dope video!
I started messing around with vertical filming on my BMPCC4K a couple weeks back. Honestly pretty comfy, but might also be with my SmallRig handles helping out. I was able to get really smooth video hand-held of a local band show (I just need a power zoom control for smoother zooms, lol).
What size videos would people typically be satisfied with quality, for typical minute-long videos? I use Davinci, and started messing with Handbrake last year. I am still trying all different kinds of render settings to see what falls in-place the best, and have slowly gotten more satisfied throughout. I just never truly felt comfortable with what settings to choose, & how much I can really squeeze out of my videos. Especially when I see blockbuster movies usually being
Dude you best! thanks!â€ïž
Great tip on turning on high quality uploads. Had no idea that was there.
Thanks for sharing your export settings and process. I was able to upload the 4k output to my android phone and into Instagram. The problem I ran into was I could not add audio from their library to the reel. As soon as I exported to 1080p this resolved the issue.
for 4k 9:16 video uploads queue your sequence to adobe encoder and should be able to export it from there and then it will work! had the same issue before !
I think you may be able to shoot horizontal if you use a mask/s. It should give you the same effect if it's set up right. Just make it a template so you don't have to keep creating it.
I've seen a few comments on the "upload higher quality" setting not showing up for them. It's an iOS vs Android thing. Android has the same setting it's just worded in a confusing way. Go to Settings - Account - Celluar Data Settings - Toggle Data Saver On (that's the confusing part) - then click high resolution media - turn on at least "wifi only" or "wifi + celluar". Typical of Android it actually gives you more control over whether to do it only when you're on wifi or all the time, but it's not as easy to understand or navigate too. Hope this helps!
I think that is actually an option to help you save cellular data by not preloading videos and only loading videos that you pat to see. It doesnt have anything to do with uploads. I think on android you dont have that option. Either it is set like that by default or it cant be changed? I dont know really but this seems not to be the same option as on the iPhone
@@J.Polyakov exactlyyyyy. they are 2 different things
Now can i upload i quality videos on insta
now high quality upload feature is available in Android too.
Thanks for posting thisđ€đ»
Fam I do 4K vertical on my iPhone everyday. the difference is I use FCP so it's prolly a preimer setting. I ecport 10-bit HEVC h.265 becsue it is hella fast on M1 processors.
Yo man, appreciate the video, very helpful. Do you by chance have a video on how to upload and export 10bit video?
what's is your main white color balance or do you change depending on the lighting situation
Thanks man, I have been having trouble exporting 4k reel content on my iphone, but I can open them on ipad pro
This is about to help me so much, waiting for the day one of my reels pops off đđđŸ
Great video! I have a question, do you use any app for instagram feed planning and program content?
Hey man, thanks for the videos! I loved what you said in the last one about finding a way to work with the algorithm without compromising your brand. That's been a struggle for me. You mentioned that you'll cover how to get Instagram reel music into premiere, would you possibly be able to share that?
Thanks!
Thatâs specifically what I came here to this video for.
Screen record the audio you liked on the reel - then simply put that recording on premiere and boom!
CZcams to mp3 the song, instagram will automatically add it to that audio page
Nice vid bro! Uploading your edited clips with music already attached to the file. Do you have any copyright problems, because youre not using the actual audio files from the IG app itself?
Hi there, thank you for video, this is pretty good. May I ask you what size is your video file to post in instagram reels after exporting?
Thank you for this
Thanks for this!! Can I ask, what camera did you use in making this video? Thanks
Yes I struggle too with shooting vertical and horizontal footage.
vertiical is something to get use to vs cropping horizontal.,... Great vids btw !
Thank you for making this video!!! đ„č
Hi, if you are going to export as Full HD video, why not set your sequence settings as Full HD? Will there be any difference?
pixel binning and much lesser noise when timeline is 4k and export is 1080p
thank you for this video, and I used your outputs and it worked!
What lens are you using in this video? thanks!
For the high quality ig upload
Do you have to upload from your computer to ig OR can it be done when you save it to your phone then upload it from there
Will be getting your course btw
THANK YOU BROO đ
When you export your project with music that you want to use. Do you just try to match up the music with instagrams music for the same so itâs more discoverable?
You can just put the song on Instagram but then lower the volumes of the song on insta and max out the original audio sound
Never knew about the high quality upload setting, but thanks for that
Would love to see a video on how to go from your last step in this video to getting the video onto your phone
@henbu I know this video is 3 months old but I was able to export to 4k on to my Iphone, not sure how instagram algo lowers the quality after posting but it seems fine đ thanks for the tips.
Ty boss!
Iâm filming on an iPhone 15 Pro Max do you recommend turning off HDR? When filming footage to use.
Excellent video. Is your video tutorial available for sale on your website?
OMG BRO its really work
It is actually a lot better to downsample your footage in timeline besides on export.. try it
Thanks. That helped.
Why not make the sequence settings 1080 x 1920 and then scale your clips accordingly? Is there a difference in export quality if done that way?
This i would like to know
There will be no difference in quality. Its the same
for workflow efficiency. You could scale each clip on a 1080 timeline, or you could drop each clip in their actual resolution, then export the whole project in 1080.
Thanks Bro!!
thanks man
Sorry for the dumb question, anyway your luts can work on Clog3?
Hey man, Iâd actually be interested in your editing course. Is it already out? What exactly is included? đđŒ
Hey, great tutorial, could you tell me how you get to download those trendy sounds ?
Nice tutorial,
Looking forward for the course⊠any discount code for your fans???
naisu! thanks m8
Do you have to film vertically if you plan to just change the aspect ratio when editing? Is there a benefit to film vertically from the start?
Horizontal is if you are editing for different social media platforms
Thank you men
ive worked around the 4k vertical iphone issue by editing it vertically then exporting it horizontally then rotating it in the IOS photos app.
I use to be able to air drop my 4:22 4k footage until one day it stopped working. So once I export my 4k video I open up Adobe rush and export it in 4k on my desktop and airdrop it to my phone. So itâll stay 4k. Takes only a minute. Lmk what yâall think.
But do you upload your video on 4k directly to Instagram?
Looking forward for this course, i hope you make tiktok too.
Just found your channel ! Will your course be helpful for food videos; Reels, Tiktok etc ??
My iPhone pro max can play exported 4K vids. đ€·đ»ââïž also I end up shoot both orientation i vary my reels with stacked horizontal shots and vertical shots
btw thanks for the IG tips on uploads and keep your content going I dig it.
Thank you bro đ
Hey just wondering how you get/download the IG royalty free music (that is available on the app) into Premiere or FCP? Is there an easy way or do that or do you just add the music in the IG app when creating the reel.
Do you have any LUTs that might work well with indoor footage?
Thank you tNice tutorials really helped!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is the course out yet ?? If here where I can get it ?
If I have 59.94 fps footage, what timebase setting should I use in sequence settings?
thanks
After you export with the music you picked from instagram, do you add the music to the video on instagram and then mute the audio?
Does your SLOG3 Luts work for CLOG footage?
So my question is, based on these parameters/scenarios:
-GoPro/Iphone/Drone footage in 4K (framerate between 30 and 60)
-Instagram (allegedly) only allows 1080p/30
So, what would be better, editing a compilation/reel in premiere pro, using the sequence settings (4k/60) and then letting instagram convert it...
OR
Using premiere pro's exporting function to convert and output it to 1080p/30 and then going to instagram...
I would assume using a dedicated and very sophisticated software will give more quality downgrading to 1080p vs letting instagram's engine do it.
But, figure'd id leave this here for any people who may have done some actual comparisons.
Am here for the reply
Same
yup, def waiting as well
@@yekane film however u want. 4k is going to be more flexible for editing. but when u render, render at 1080p and for the bit rate target a filsize of 15mb. that should be solid.
@@Roy.story.4 greatly appreciate it ima try this soon
Do you recommend for sports videos
since you use a pc over MacBook how do you transfer your file from computer to your iPhone?
What frame rate do you use?
I read in the Instagram website their minimum frame rate is 30fps.
What would happen with 24/25fps uploaded footage? Does it work, choppy?
So this is what I was trying to figure out. Yes, if you upload 24/25 fps footage, it's a bit choppy.
Did you post the video about the vertical recording?
Can we do same setting in horizontal videos?
Do you think it helps if the reel/video clip is under 30 seconds? I've noticed some of the higher quality reels on IG that dont get compressed and keep their quality typically arent the full length video but a much more shorter version.
10 bit 4.2.2. is really heavy on my computer, what is your PC setup?
That data useage high quality uploads was the best
Hey everybody, 4k export works on my iPhone. Try exporting to the new apple pro res codec on premier pro. I notice .mov uploads better then .mp4
Hey thank you very much for your tutorial. I have one question:
Isnât my reel, which goes 1 minute, too big (I mean the filesize) when I render it at 30mbs?
I've uploaded a 100 mb file as well. But the problem is, Instagram compresses all the video you upload. So I personally saw no difference between a 15 mbps and 30 mbps because it compressed it to a crap anyways
Hello . to start instagram rel video algorithm setting at frequency /bitrate/ 30/more than 30 it compresses
and FPS more than 30 also freezes, since it makes no sense to put more than 30
PS. I advise you to enable high-quality upload in the instagram settings (for high-quality upload of your video)
Hey man so the solution for not being able to get 4K videos on the iphone has a simple fix (at-least for me). The fix: In your export settings, go to Video>Encoding Settings>Level. For Level, set this to 5.2. I realize Premiere Pro has this set to 6.0 by default which was the root problem for 4K video not being able to be played on my iPhone. Hope this helps anyone out there. If it helped you PIN this comment
Do you manually rotate all of your raw footage on VLC or does in save vertical. I shoot everything vertical but the files save horizontal which I always have to rotate in post editing which is a pain
Depends on the metadata. A7iii wonât auto rotate but a newer camera like zve-10 will auto rotate to how it was recorded.
