@@Zo-hc2fn It could work as a novelty item... people trying it once or twice to see what's what (or at best in the weeks when they agree with the menu), but in general people tend to know what they want when it comes to food. We like to have a spot depending on what we're craving that day. It would be annoying to have to browse through a menu to see what's available that week, when i know where to go if i want a burger, a pizza, ribs, wings, a kebab or whatever. I'm hungry... I don't have time to browse this week's menu and to think about it. It's a bit like web design... you spend a lot of energy making some fancy ass websites, with all kind of features and plugins, meanwhile your average user wants something more in tone with early 2000s ... quick, minimalisti and easy to navigate.

I will say McDonald's customer service, quality control and consistency has taken a nosedive the past several years. BK still has managers with integrity that enforce quality and speed (for the most part). McDonald's service and food quality and speed sucks now. You have to actually ask for your food to be fresh and hot, and even then it usually isn't and is served with an attitude.
If they brought back dollar nuggets and dollar fries it would boost sales. BK still has a decent dollar/value menu. Rodeo Burgers for a buck are great when you're low on cash. Burger with bacon for a buck, can't beat it. If ya don't like bbq sauce they'll dress it regular burger style.

The tot coins trump the hash browns at McDonald's. You used to get two, now you just get one, rip off. And BKs croissant sausage sandwich is tastier than McDonald's. But still if there is an option to have breakfast in a mom and pops cafe do that. Actual real breakfast food.

The problem with McDonalds is that they cheat when it comes to meat. Their basic burger has a 1.2 ounce paddy as does the Big Mac which has a two of these tiny paddies. So, for the Big Mac you end up paying for 2.4 ounces of meat and lots of bread. The only way of making out at McDonalds is to order a quarter pounder. I used to love McDonalds in the old days before they started using coated french fries, of course Burger King does the same. In order to get great fries I go to Five Guys. They also are a better deal when it comes to a burger. You pay less per ounce of beef than you do at either McDonalds or Burger King.
