Yaesu FT-450D v.s. FT-901DM

A quick comparison between an old and new Yaesu radio. The FT450D is running an MFJ-1625, whereas the FT901DM is running a piece of 10m random wire antenna hooked up to a 9:1 balun. Both antennas are placed in the same position, facing the same direction.

With both Rigs being switched from the same Antenna and external speaker,it would be a fair test. Even though, the FT-901DM wins hands down 👌 Thanks so much for sharing...🤩
