Gibbs knew EXACTLY what Tony was doing lol. That critical eye of his doesn't miss anything, and he knows Tony's penchant for perspective-accurate art in scene sketches.
My very favorite DiNozzo moment was when the JAG Officer & a couple of Marines arrived to take that sweet old WWII Veteran, Ernie, into custody and Tony gently moved Ernie's necktie aside to reveal his Congressional Medal of Honor...& per Military custom no matter what the rank, they instantly snapped to attention and saluted him. The JAG Officer was disrespectful to Ernie & while Tony didn't have the military background or mindset he was a brilliant enough Investigator to recognize & exploit it.. The JAG Officer started out rude to good guy Ernie so DiNozzo effortlessly shoved the reason she should show him respect right down her throat .... The two Marines, on the other hand showed neutral body language & not disrespect... Ernie's silent nod acknowledging their salutes was also pure gold...
@@OutlawbynameI loved that scene when McGee and ziva(or was it Caytlin) struck out- and gibbs turns to a sleeping Tony , expecting an answer, as if knowing there was no way Tony would be sleeping WITHOUT having one) and he had one- Worked the night, got the answer and had it ready.
My absolute favorite DiNozzo moment was when the JAG Officer & couple of Marines arrived to take the Medal of Honor winner into custody & Tony gently moved Ernie's necktie aside showing his Medal... & per Military custom they instantly snapped to attention & saluted Ernie... Tony didn't have the Military background or mindset but he was a smart enough Investigator to recognize & exploit it.... The JAG Officer wasn't showing nice guy Ernie any respect, so Tony shoved the reason she should right down her throat.... The enlisted Marines, however, expressed neutral body language & didn't disrespect Ernie...good for them 👍👍
I would gave been far more cautious trying to open that. Someone with a secret room full of guns is likely to have some pretty nasty security for thst room...

To be fair, neither of them had seen Tony walking off the distance, just him measuring the building with his arms.
I like to think Gibbs knew exactly what Tony was doing, but sometimes when it comes to his team it's easier to play dumb
I don't think he knew exactly what he was doing, but Gibbs knew it purpose.
@@ProfChaos1985 He knew Tony was measuring the house or using the house and his body as a measuring reference, he just didn't know why at the time.
Yep
I think he had no idea what he was doing but knew it would help in some way
Actually that's good advice for life too.
Dinozzo pressing E on his environment til a door opens up
he played enough doom/wolf 3d 🤣
Nah he just looked for the reused asset

There's always method to his madness 😂
He gets results
Gibbs: "you may not like his methods but you got to love the results"
@@shadowbeast2276Which episode is that from?
@@robertwalker5794 I don't remember after all this time. I think season 1 or 2.
I love how they were respectable to the belongings they didnt just toss everything off the wall to the side they were polite about it
i mean Gibbs is a Marine so he wouldn’t just make a mess he was trained better
Classic Michael Weatherly at his finest, lol. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
For all that he wanted to spread his wings beyond Mark, you can't ever convince me he didn't enjoy getting paid for shenanigans. 😂
Behind the scenes factoid: Those were Michael Weather's real arms used in that scene. Not props.
Did anybody even think those were props?
@@AllisonLorenzo-jw2ssI think this might be a joke?
Nah I was his stunt double for that scene. 3 hours of work, 3 weeks of rehearsals. Nailed it!
Not true. His actual left arm was used, but due to scheduling conflicts his right arm was played by a stunt double.

I remember that whole episode. It was definitely a satisfying moment
Tony was a brilliant investigator.
I don't think he knew exactly what he was doing, but to be fair, he didn't see him walking out the measurement, just hugging the wall😂
lmao I loved this scene
he was doing girl math
THIS IS ICONIC!!!
DiNozzo is a clown, but he is an effective agent.
DiNozzo is a clown so people *forget* that he's an amazing agent

Bruh got that Counterstrike gat.
What episode is this?
Season 9 episode 4
I thought the 4x09 was the screen resolution
What was DiNozzo doing exactly?
He was using his body to take measurements of the suspect's house.
