    I was born in fiji I am Indian descent. My ancestors were brought by British to fiji in 1879. All Indians speak Hindi although they are from all over India. I am third generation, however I live in New Zealand.

      But nowadays the usage of Bhojpuri-Hindi among Fiji Indians are declining. Many prefers to speak English as their mother tongue.

But I heard some of my Indo Fijian friends who I met them in Australia told me that many Indian from Fiji have migrated to other countries due to the lack of job opportunities and heavy discrimination from the native i-Taukei Fijian (majority Christians). Many Indians in Fiji also slowly converting to Christianity. They even told me the new generations ecspecially the one who migrated to other countries have slowly started to use English to their children as mother tongue.

N these people not even visited India, not only speaking their mother tongue but maintaining their culture too. N that lady didn't want to speak bad about Myanmar's people too. Good spirit of life!

      Many people of Indian origin in Borneo who have never been to India. Most of them are Punjabis and Tamils, also a few Malayalis & Gujaratis. Some don't even speak Indian tongues anymore.

    I'm an Indian (Indian national precisely), I've been to Fiji once about couple of years ago ! You can find Biharis in Fiji Islands too !! Indo-Fijians (majority of them are Biharis) communicated with me in Hindi language (Fiji Hindi) but they've got very strong Bhojpuri accent !!! I loved Fiji so much !! Really miss that place .... Extraordinarily beautiful islands in the mid of southern Pacific Ocean !!! Please plan a trip to Fiji !!! 🇮🇳❤️🇫🇯☮️

      भाई कराची शहर मे 40 प्रतिशत लोग बिहार से गए है वहा, इसीलिए वहा भी बिहारी है।क्रिकेटर कादिर खान भी बिहारी ही था, मतलब उसके वालिद।

    She's all smiles & very pleasant. It's good she still speaks her mother language. Growing up in Myanmar I know a lot of Burmese Indians & some of them were my friends. A lot of them don't speak hindi. They are wonderful people.

    It's since when Burma was part of India.And Burma got liberated in 1935.And then some Indian returned to India but some stay back their.
