God this temple drove me insane , i just climbed most of it ngl

Yeah, the amount of time I could have saved time and headache if I remembered ascend is embarrassing. Looking forward to a second playthrough.
Thank you for taking awareness of the background music changing as you were progressing in the temple! I first noticed when I was doing the Wind Temple and honestly it gave me the chills hearing all of the champions's themes once more with a different and amazingly done arrangement. Big props to the music and sound design team and to you Austin for covering literally EVERYTHING of this game, we sure really appreciate it!

Bonus tip for the fire temple. in that central chamber that Austin recommended placing a travel medallion in there is a switch that activates an elevator that travels up and down from the entrance hallway.

I did this dungeon in all the wrong ways. Almost never used the mine carts and climbed almost to everywhere. Amazing how can we solve this in so many ways
I'm having trouble getting to the fifth floor gong. I just can't find the way.
I think it's why I like the game so much. There is always more than one way to accomplish something.

Also, reminder that the tiers of Constructs that appear depends on how many monsters you've defeated throughout the game.
You've made this dungeon so painless I'm almost mad I didn't wait for this tutorial! I know I'll definitely be leaning on this heavily in future playthroughs of course! Another fantastic resource thanks again!
I’ve already completed Regional Phenomena, but it’s really cool to see how different people complete things! I totally forgot about Rewind and Ascend during the boss fight, totally would have made things easier haha
There's some backstory for the Mask if you talk to the Blacksmith for Goron Village, 'Zelda' came to him with some Material that gave off a Dangerous Aura and asked him to make a Mask with it for Yunobo

This was the first time I've had to take a break from a zelda dungeon cause it just burned me out trying to navigate it, even the water temple in OOT didn't do that
Yeah, I was mostly just mad with how often the big dumb goron got stuck places. It was really annoying.

For the gong that’s at the very top you just fix the bridge that’s below it on 4F and shoot Yunobo. He will roll up the wall and break a red rock and a metal cube will drop down. From there you ride it like an elevator up with your time turner. That’s how the game wants you to solve it anyways.

I’m not sure how I solved it but I remember finding a useless cube. That must have been the intended use! I love how many ways people complete the temple and boss.

Just gotta say man I have been watching your videos on repeat, all these different TOTK Vids have been a saving grace for me because I’m not necessarily the best at strategy style games, and have never before actually played any Zelda game.
I started following you when I first got my switch and you you were doing pokemon scarlet/violet videos and you helped me with the shrines in that game lmao
But you are legit walking me through some of the toughest parts of this game which I am determined to put my all into so just had to come by and say much appreciated and you are great at what you do.
As someone who used to aspire to have a active CZcams channel myself it’s something I greatly appreciate to see someone go through things with such great detail and passion. 🤙🤙 keep it up man!
I always want to see people’s reactions to the start of this quest. When I saw Yunobo for the first time I said out loud “What the heck is going on?!” (I might have used stronger language than heck) I knew that there had to be a reason he was acting weird but it was still so absurd.
He became a drug kingpin
I literally turned to my husband, who does not play video games, and said "I'm not sure what sh*t Nintendo was smoking but they ruined one of the main characters from the first game."
I think he was even more confused when I later told him, again with little context, "never mind it was the character on drugs, not Nintendo. It's fine now."
[maybe someday he will get tired of out-of-context statements and play this damn game with me :') ]

I watched this after the fact to see how you did some of the areas where I struggled and just climbed, used ascend, or used a 2 fan bike to get to. Man, I made this way harder than it needed to be. Thanks Austin.
I actually used my ember headpiece and trousers with the flamebreaker chest piece for the temple. Constant glow! Looked very appropriate.
75 hours in and I’ve still only done the wind temple, there is so much to do I keep getting distracted going for side quests or armor sets or shrines lol. Maybe I’ll start working on story again soon 😅😂😂
The fire temple has to be my favorite temple out of them all and if not that one then the lighting one, both have cool stories and challenges. Also I thought Yunobo was just flat out mean cause the power he had over the village but quickly thought otherwise when I thought of him in botw.
Man I made the longest cobblestone bridge that temple had ever seen to ring that final gong and I could have just made a ramp....
Great game I'm glad I made a 15 piece long bridge of cobblestone for my Goron missile
I did the same thing I spent like 30 minutes building a bridge...never thought to make a ramp...
i totally cheesed this temple by climbing around it, so it's fascinating to see the actual method i was supposed to go through, LOL

For the boss, If you knock out two legs during phase 1, it will fall to the ground and then you can just climb on top of it and smack it then.
Its always interesting seeing what methods people use for the boss fight. I didnt even think to use recall, i just climbed up the rocks and slowmo arrow the whole fight

I was just doing the fire temple section and I was really confused so thanks!
So they give you a balloon in the area for Gong 3, and I made a super long bridge for Gong 5 after using half of it for Gong 4, reading off a guide on a gaming site.
Also because I read wrong, I just glided from a higher floor to get to Gong 4, and missed the "TV spot ad" cart battle.
Covering Breath/Tears the way that people do is interesting, because the world scaling shifts encounters for everyone.
I read about a Kakariko side quest that the guide warned of a Silver enemy, there were just Blues. And here in your video you show/talk about encountering Soldier/Captain 4s, I was fighting 2s/3s when I did it.
At least content within the dungeon, while it'd be nice to get more than just stacks of 10 arrows, stays roughly the same outside of modifier.
Anyway, thanks for all that you've done, are doing, and planning to tackle.

I pretty much went straight to the fire temple boss fight after getting to mainland. I only had the one fireproof clothing item which was the top. The heat was not a problem anywhere with just the single item. finished Fire Temple on 4 heart canisters with no problems.

Watched this to compare how we did the dungeon. I made a scaffold and ascended to the gong you just climbed for padlock 3.. I was hoping to see a way that would have been considered more intended with the materials in front of you - but you gotta do what you gotta do lol.

I used the cart to ride my way up (failed a couple times trying) , the view was breathtaking and after reaching on the top it felt so satisfying
I thought the water temple was bad in ocarina of time. The fire temple in TOTK said hold my beer.

Feel like I definitely cheesed most of this temple. To me, it wasn’t very obvious with how to complete it the “right” way. Loved the music and how fun the dungeon was overall

Did the Moragia fight and started the temple and hit 2 of the 5 Gongs; and it hit me, hyrule compendium. So i went back did it again and luckily you had uploaded this and kept me entertained (and guided) thru the rest of it😅
