This was really cute and super helpful! I’ve been looking into making my own soaps for personal use and you make it look easy! Thank you. 😊
This would be fun to do with my granddaughter
Melt and pour soap is a wonderful project to do with kids! In the article on my website, you can see pictures of my grand daughter and I making her first M&P!
Hi Heidi, beautiful soaps. Great video. Why is it however that most melt and pour soaps have Palm oil? Palm oil is destructive to gorillas and animal habitats.
lilybaytoday I have to be honest: I very rarely make melt and pour because you really can’t be sure of any of the ingredients. My friend’s m§p book just came out, so I’m sharing this for her. If you take a look at the soap recipes I teach and share on my website, book, and course, you will NOT see a single recipe with palm. Because... you’re absolutely correct
@@HeidiVillegas Sounds good. I must say I was looking at melt and pour bases because lye scares me but If I want to pick my ingredients making soap from scratch seems the way to go. Will look into your class. Thanks. Your melt and pour soap tutorial is lovely however.
Saponify melt and pour base on Amazon has sustainably sourced palm oil (from a family farm in Malaysia)
Too much explaining. I need to get to it, please.
Right. I kept fast forwarding it. Other than that, it was a great video but to long to get to the point.
I love soap making but I have used shea butter as the base but this time I want to use goats milk base but I like adding sugar to it and using the oils which make my skin so soft. I got use to soap making my bar soaps, but I'm so scared of the lye so I prefer melt n pour its a lot easier and no dangers to it.. I enjoyed your video thank-you.
