Shree Raag is essentially contemplative in nature. She add a touch of sadness. Makes it haunting. Brilliant. Only a great singer can bring such experience to you.
Kishori tai is great. It's a treat to ears and all senses. शरीर पुलकित होता है । Unfortunately the pure joy of listening her is slightly diluted by constant appreciation by one accompanist

Her presentation of Shree is, of course, great. But there is a male voice saying "Aahaa" so often that it is clear he doesn't understand head or tail of music. All classical music, and particularly a raaga like Shree is to be heard in absolute silence. Who is he and why was he allowed to sit so close to the mic ? Kishoree Tai was known for being outspoken, and I wish she had asked him to "be quiet".
Please stop this nonsense...Indian musicians are used to vocal appreciation. Including ahha and bhesh. audience involvement makes it lively and gives feedback to the artist.We don't wear tuxedos and hear in pin drop silence.
