The final Wales vlog is here! After spending a week in mid and North Wales, it felt only fitting to explore the capital city of Wales, Cardiff! We had an amazing weekend, I was so surprised with how close everything is! You can literally walk everywhere and there really is something for everyone. If you’ve been to Cardiff before or live near, definitely leave any recommendations for places we missed below, so other people can plan their next trip knowing all the best spots! 👇 Thanks for your support and watching. Thank you so much for this! Excellent! I left Cardiff at age 16 in 1971, London, various locations in Europe and the Republic of Ireland. I was back and fore ocassionaly... for a break. Ha! Arrived home in Cardiff in 2009 and this is my permanent home again. I wish I'd had the luxury of vlogs in those days. I love my city now and have no plans to leave it, (never say never!). It has been so good to look at the city from your perspective. Your enthusiams is infectious. Another thing that I liked is, near the beginning of the vlog your statement about supporting local businesses, something I consider wherever I visit. Thanks again, I loved every second of this vlog. hi. Glad to see you in Cardiff. I live about 12 miles away but for about 20 years I worked in the city centre. The arcades form a massive route of short cuts around the city. I worked in the tall telephone exchange building by the stadium. Nipping out at lunch time for an item of shopping and getting a sandwich for lunch was easy. I could have gone to the 13th floor canteen but going out for fresh air, as close to fresh air a city as, doing that quick shop meant you didn’t have to come in on a Saturday, find a parking spot, spend more time shopping and a day has gone!
Spliller’s used to be along the road outside, straight up the arcade, turn left and about 100 yards there it was.
‘Like serial killers’ honestly Benji’s humour is top tier. 🤣

Thank you Brogan for showing us inside Cardiff castle. Wheelchair users don't get to enjoy these historical places often. I did try to buck the trend a few years ago but trying to do voluntarily work at Hardwick hall for the National trust. They put up with me for three weeks then health and safety became an issue. LOL
Benji is adorable with his fun facts about the castle. He seems to make the best of any situation. These travel vlogs are great.

I think what is great about living in Cardiff is also the fact that hours drive you can be in beaches and mountain walks as well.
I love how much Benji is into the castle history! He's such a sweetheart! I hope Hux will have that kind of appreciation for things when he's older

I loved Cardiff when I got to visit a couple of summers ago! We actually wandered around Caerphilly Castle, which is a little ways outside of the city center but SO beautiful and definitely worth the bus trip!

I’ve been here I loved it. I love ghost hunting so all old buildings are my favorite.
Enjoyed watching this as a Cardiff bay resident! The castle, bute park, arcades and town area is great. Would definitely NOT recommend the dock restaurant in the bay. It’s pretty naff. One of the best restaurants there is Yakitori (Japanese place - not a chain!) next to the Glee comedy club. The highlights of being down the bay also include seeing a theatre show in the Wales Millenium Centre and taking a ride on the aqua bus (boat)!

You two really are special. Wherever I see you two frolic around it just warms my soul. This was yet another slice of sweet viewing pleasure I didn't want to end. On my magical trip to England in 2008 my British friend took me to Belvior Castle, which I think is in..or near..Liecestershire? It was pretty cool (and they had these flamboyantly dressed dancers doing a jig outside the building that was fun to watch). Your experience at Cardiff Castle looks even more impressive. Ahhh mini golf! Can't wait to play again. Thank you for the historical bits too. Sensational vlog. You are lovely inside and out.
I find your vlogs so relaxing! I'm a fairly new subscriber (3 weeks I think) as I found you through your first time buyer videos! I like that you have a similar lifestyle to me as the trips you take are possible for someone like me! 😊 As I'm getting to my mid twenties, I prefer to watch chill CZcamsrs compared to super extravagant luxury ones.

I went to Cardiff once for a concert and went to the castle the next day! I only lived an hour from there when I was at uni in Bath - I should have gone more often 😅 I’m off to Brighton this weekend with friends 🙌🏻

What a beautiful place! Cardiff has never really been on my radar but this has definitely helped it get on my list. Our next trip is Anglesey. I used to go a lot with the little girl I work with and fell in love with the place so want to make some memories there with my little family. Our pooch is coming too on this trip z
