Shanti in my family itself there is a couple who keep their in laws with them but they torture them like hell, the mom in law cant leave the house as shes very much bonded with that house, the daughter in law keeps them stale food, even if they have any health issues, they will just give them medicine but will not take them to hospital.. they have used all her gold and pawned her property etc... so even if a couple keeps elderly parents with them doesnt mean they are taking care of them, many elders are suffering at home.. some times i feel all we can pray is to keep us healthy till last breath so that we dont depend on any one..

Shanti in my family itself there is a couple who keep their in laws with them but they torture them like hell, the mom in law cant leave the house as shes very much bonded with that house, the daughter in law keeps them stale food, even if they have any health issues, they will just give them medicine but will not take them to hospital.. they have used all her gold and pawned her property etc... so even if a couple keeps elderly parents with them doesnt mean they are taking care of them, many elders are suffering at home.. some times i feel all we can pray is to keep us healthy till last breath so that we dont depend on any one..

Haii shanthi ur are exactly right what you said my mother inlw is my father's own sister they are 11members my father is elder brother among all 10members i got married at 2007 he is only son when i got married i am studying biotechnology bsc 1year they told i will complete my education also our parents believed all words my in-laws told me stay with my parents only up to my 3rd year my husband use to come montly 2times but he took me at Second year to my in-laws home we stayed together but she didn't like to stay i dont know why with lot of struggles i completed my biotechnology i got seet in msc biochemistry but they said no ,now i lost my carrier even though iam happy because of my parents support niw i am staying in rular village my children are doing journey more than 2hours now how can i took care ot them even they are educated my father in-law is retired teacher i lost my smile i lost my dreams mam 😔my only hope is my daughters
