12V Outlet from Constant to Ignition Power

Installed a dash cam on a 2004 Chevy Tahoe. However both power outlets were on constant power, and the dash cam is recommended for switched ignition power. So this video shows how I changed my always on “cigarette lighter” power source to an ignition “key on” power source. Yes, I know I probably could have purchased the correct size spade connectors, but I was in a hurry and this is what I had laying around. This video is what I did to my car. I take no responsibility for anything anyone else does to their vehicle.

@@The-Adventures-Awaits Thank you. I plan on getting some actual connections that fit properly into the fuse spots to tidy up the wiring. But I am very happy it is working. High five 🖐️ to me, lol.
