Basically the lady was hunting a coyote who killed her dog that night, the cops went back inside and all was good, until John (the cop) was going to his car, he ended up finding the dog which leaded him to some crazy guy trying to kill his boyfriend. They kidnapped the cop and was about to kill him when the lady cop saved him lol. Hope that makes sense
Even if you think the kid is lying, or its all in there head. There is always ALWAYS truth to it. Its like the kid is telling you in their own language and it's up to you to understand.

People were blaming it on the wind but they finally decided to investigate it. Later that night, John (John- Nylas partner) talks to the “Ghost” Lila (Nylas daughter) was seeing. She turned out to be a old lady looking for the coyote that supposedly killed her dog ( at the end of the episode the dog goes up to John showing that its alive). The lady had a gun to revenge her “dead” dog snowball. Then after that at one of the neighbors houses, John hears screaming and goes to investigate. He gets hit with a pole in the head and tied to the ceiling. The cops obviously win so yeah!!
