Hammers/Frogspawn are Fimbriaphyllia. F. parancora (branching hammer) F. ancora (Large polyp polyp hammer), F. Divisa (Large polyp Frogspawn), F. Paradivisa (Branching frogspawn). It helps explains why The Euphyllia and Fimbriaphyllia Sting each other.
Also Euphyllia are brooders and Fimbriaphyllia are broadcast spawners. All Fimbriaphyllia can be cross bred, but a Fimbriaphylla can't fertilize an Euphyllia.
@@boulette42 I have an example of a cross of fimbriaphyllia parancora and paradivisa on my channel. The "Golden Frammer" the tenticle phenotypiclly terminates in a "club/clover" rather than the typical hammer or grape phenotype of the parental corals. Such a fabulous species. These all are!
@@anthonyloconte7835 yep I send her emails, letters, friends requests, even changed my fb relationship status to “in a relationship with Tia from Fragbox TV!” 😂
Setting up my new reefcasa 24 gallon while I watch a new episode of frag box…:) everyone who has a chance should totally visit the store the corals are insane in person!
My hammers have all lost their shape… they look like a cross between BTA and Bubble coral. Been like it for months… nitrate 5, phosphate 0.03, mag 1435, calc 500, dkh 8.5 and ph 8.4….
These videos have always been informative and interesting. What would be some must haves for a fluval 13 in your mind? What could I get early on that may add some pop to the tank, but still rock the stock light for the time being?? Hyped!
“. Gov does not sound legit. “
